Does this device work with legacy versions of the app— djay Pro 2 (pre-subscription)?

It will not work with the legacy version. You will need the newest version of Djay but don’t have to subscribe to be able to use the controller. You will be limited to the effects you can use if you don’t subscribe.

Will it get lag if used for a couple hours with bluethoot?

Since it uses Bluetooth yes there is a very very slight lag compared to if it would be a wired connection but you can hardly hear it
