I have 3 piercings on each ear lobe but for years I never wore earrings except for occasional events and holiday parties. I always had to kind of fight to get them in my ears, but I managed eventually and didn’t think much of it until this past December when I only managed to get 2 in one side and 1 on the other.I’m really glad I opted for these instead of having them re-pierced at a good, but very expensive, local piercer. The piercing device is pretty easy to use, but it does stick on the release. Plan ahead for that and don’t panic if you’ve squeezed it shut but it won’t open. Just gently work with it a bit, and it will release. On one side, I had to really pull it and the back came out with it (still held in place in the piercing device). I used tweezers to get the back out of the piercer and just put it on like any traditional earring back.Despite that inconvenience, it was still an easy process and didn’t take long. The posts are also short enough to be left in 24/7 so these piercings won’t close again.Without question, if I ever have to re-pierce my earlobes I’d use the Studex piercing earrings in a heartbeat. Even with the minor hassle of having them not release like they’re supposed to, it was still super easy and my piercings have healed nicely.

The only bad thing is that it does not come with instructions. I love that you get the piercing and the back butterfly to snap in place with one step. The size of the piercing is perfect for kids. I pierced my ears with it and it feels a little tight on my ear lobe (3rd whole) but seems perfect for my 6 month old. The actual gun is manual it does not snap automatically, therefore you can apply a little pressure before going all the way through to assure you are making the whole in the right place. Once you are ready you press it all the way through and BANG! You got a new piercing. Looks like you might be able to use this gun again, but I did not try and wouldn't recommend since it would no longer be sterilized. So far very hapy with my purchase (purchased two), if anything comes up I will update my review.

This was perfect to pierce my 6 month old ears. It was quick and easy. It took us more time to mark her ears and hold her still then it did to actually pierce the ear. I would highly recommend to anyone who is wanting to pierce their baby’s ears

While it was simple to actually pierce my babies ear, unfortunately the backing did not break away as they should have. When I tried putting the backing by hand I found that the opening seemed too small and I was unable to get it through so I had to find some backings from other earrings I had.

Loved these. It was so easy to put on my daughter. I put them on when she was 4/5 months and it was so quick and they look great! Totally recommend! Size was also perfect for her ear

I used these to open up my piercings that had closed. They worked well and without pain. The earrings are really cute and don’t bother me at all like others. I forget I’m wearing them and am able to keep them on while I sleep.

Recomiendo estos aretes. Son de buena calidad y excelente precio. Los uso todo el tiempo, me baño con ellos y no se han puesto negros ni verdes. Me encantan! Ya he comprado 4 diferentes y llevo dos puestos todo el tiempo. Los volvería a comprar si fuera necesario.
