I live on a farm and taking the dog out at night for a pee is very dark lolMy trusty torch that I’ve had for many years decided it was time to retire so I let my husband do his OCD thing where he trawls through products, checks reviews, compares them all to each other and generally acts like if he doesn’t find the best product for the best price then the world will end (like he did with the last one, hence I had it since the dawn of time)Anyway I digress, so he found this torch and well it’s bloody brilliant! I like the little handle, it charges quite quickly and has a beam of light that lets you see through the earth (ok, not quite through the earth, but it’s really bright)The different functions are good too, good value for money and very powerful, what else do you need.It is smaller than I was expecting but it’s not all about the size people! Don’t judge its smallness.It may even be better than my old torch but I don’t know if I could say that out loud, I was rather attached to my old torch (may he RIP)All in all, great torch that does torchy things

Small, light weight and so bright you need to wear shades (sunglasses) very easy to hold and stands firmly upright to allow use as a reading light. Ideal for older people who may struggle with the weight of somew torches.Easy to charge, just plug the supplied lead into the torch and plug the other end into a usb port or usb charger.I really can fault this torch and as an older disabled person find its just about perfect for my needs.

This torch was delivered on time and was well packaged. It was a bit smaller than I expected. There isn’t much room to get your fingers between the handle and torch body so if you have large fingers then best to avoid this torch!There are 4 light patterns - high main beam, low main beam, strobe main beam and side panel light. You press the blue button on/off button to change the lighting pattern. One slight niggle is that you have to click through one or more of the lighting patterns to switch off the torch (depending on which lighting option you were using). For example, if you are using the high main beam (the first option when you switch on the torch) then you have to click the on/off button four times to switch off the torch. (Some torches with multiple lighting options will switch off with only one click - after you’ve been using a particular lighting option for several seconds).The high and low main beam of the torch is more of a spotlight than a wide beam. The light projects forward in a narrow beam towards a bright spot. You don’t get a lot of ‘side’ or peripheral light. The high beam, in particular, is very bright and projects quite a long distance (at least 100m and probably quite a bit more). The strobe light function is also quite bright but I don’t know how often that would ever get used. The side panel is also quite bright but has a rather limited range so only lights up a fairly narrow arc of up to one metre or so.The torch was fully charged when I received it so I haven’t needed to charge it up yet. A usb charging cable is supplied but no plug.The torch is made of plastic and I don’t know how well it would survive a drop onto a hard surface. It didn’t come with any instructions apart from the pictures and description in the box.For the price I would say that it it is good value and provides a bright spotlight. If you want a torch with a wider, shorter range light pattern then I would suggest looking at other alternatives. It is light and quite compact so should just about fit into a coat or jacket pocket. There are larger, more versatile and probably more robust torches to be had but they will cost a lot more than this torch.

Great.Has high power, low power, flash and side light. Bought it for my 4 year old and it’s just right. Charging via usb is dead handy and lasts ages. Well worth it.

Bought this as a spare torch for my father-in-law and he loves it! Bright and easy to charge. Seems to last forever on a charge. Recommended.
