Frankford Clear Bubble Umbrellas Orange Trim,35"

I purchased this umbrella for my 8 year old son. I also purchased a similar umbrella but different manufacture for my 6 year old daughter. On my son's first day it had three separate 2 inch tears in the flimsy plastic. Both kids, while in an adult supervise setting, used the umbrellas as intended. We are unsure how the tear could have happened. It was clearly sliced vertical through three layers. If you were to close the umbrella the tears would match up. The plastic is too delicate. Also, this umbrella just does not stand up to the elements. On day two, both kids in the same setting experienced different results from the umbrellas. My son's umbrella could not withstand the wind and the metal pieces became bent and unhinged. The umbrella did not flip up like most umbrellas would by wind. It just became bent with the wind as my daughter stood two feet from him with no problems. Her umbrella did not have any damage to it. My daughters umbrella (by WMU) is the better purchase here.Do not purchase this umbrella as it will not last.

Extremely disappointed with the Umbrella. Very, Very thin material. Used it yesterday for the first time in rainy windy weather. The ribs move around on the plastic material instead of staying where they should be. It caved in on me and two pieces of the ribs broke. Maybe it should be called a sunbrella although I don’t know it would work for that either.

I purchased 2 of these for each of my kids for Christmas. I really liked the full size to cover them up really well from the rain. My boys opened them on Christmas day and while on boy was holding the umbrella open, the 4 year old lightly smacked the umbrella and it bent the wiring. I understand this is not the way to treat the umbrella, but it just showed how flimsy and week the metal wiring that holds the umbrella together is on the product. I would not buy this product again or recommend it to anyone.

It is a nice umbrella, glad to have the orange trim so I don't oversee it if it is in a grocery cart. (Did so with a totally clear one just like this one). It has come in very handy with our crazy Winter and approaching Spring weather of 2018.

I like that bubble umbrellas allow you to cover more of yourself but still allow you to see all around you. This one is cute with its bright orange strip. But the plastic is Very thin so I'm not sure how long it will last.

Bought this for my daughter who is in college at OSU. She loves it for walking to classes on rainy days. It doesn't catch the wind like normal type umbrellas do, she can pull it down around her a little and it keeps her back and bag dry as well.

Very sturdy material that does not deform during strong winds and just love the clarity around me even when I am holding the umbrella pulled low over my head.

This has been a great purchase. Very durable, my son loves that it is see through,. Great for walking in traffic as you have a clear view of what is happening around you.
