Perfect pump for inflatable adventure kayak
6 month review...This pump delivers exactly as advertised. It's light, durable and quickly inflates my Advanced Elements Convertible tandem kayak. I use it on all trips just incase I get a puncture or need to top off the air. Happy to say, that after 15 trips, neither scenario has occurred. The features: 1. The pressure gauge works well and appears to be accurate. 2. The double pumping action is solid and smooth- no wobbling. 3. The feet keep it stable while pumping. 4. The hose is adequate in length and does not kink, even after coiling it in my kayak bag for weeks. 5. The the size is small enough to fit in my big kayak duffle bag and easily fits in my bow bungees (see pics). However, if If you're into run or bike-yaking, there are smaller options available. But for driving to the put-in or taking long kayaking trips, this pump is great. 6. While I've used it in Houston summer temps (100° F), I've not tried in colder climates. 7) The set of nozzle adapters work great and fit snug. Note, after 15 uses, the cord holding them together snapped. Can easily find another tether cord.. In conclusion, I researched the heck out of pumps and am confident, for all around purposes, this is a solid investment.

Gets the job done
I got great value for money. This is extremely easy to use. It does require some strength I use it to pump up my paddleboard. I’m unsure if my gauge works correctly the fit is great inside of my paddleboard bag. The speed I would say is medium to slow, but it does great at inflating things that need to be inflated.

Pump, pump, pump it up
This pump works AWESOME! Pumps up my advanced elements kayak in no time at all because of the double action. And it is very very smooth. Not hard to pump at all in my opinion. However, the pressure gauge does not seem to read correctly for me. If I pumped the kayak up according to the instructions and basing it off the gauge I'm sure the kayak will explode. One other thing I should note is that this pump is HUGE! It may not look that big in the picture but its pretty dang big. It mentions in my manual that depending on the temperature that I maybe have to 're-inflate' my kayak. I can't picture bringing this pump on my kayak with me because of its sheer size and I really couldn't imagine actually maneuvering the pump to fill the kayak up whilst sitting in it.I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the gauge and because of the VERY annoying attachments attached to the end of the hose which flap in your way. Especially when the nozzle attachment comes look and you have to re-attach it.Overall it is a very good pump though and I would recommend it.

Pressure gauge does not work with intex Excursion Pro K2
Got this so I could use the gauge with my Intex Explorer K2. I was able to inflate the boat however the pressure gauge did not read due to type of valves used by the K2.The pump was fairly stiff and took a good bit of effort to pump. The tether for the adapter nozzles is a bit short and cluttered making it hard to attach.Over all I feel this is a good pump, however it simply did not work well with my Excursion K2.

Boston Valve Pin Adapter Does Not Work
I bought this pump specifically for the Boston Valve pin adapter that was supposed to let me know the pressure level as I filled my inflatable kayak. The Boston Valve pin adapter supplied with this pump DOES NOT FIT in the Boston Valves on my AquaGlide Noyo 90 inflatable kayak. The metal pin is too thick and will not fit in the holes in the valve.Other than that the pump is just OK. It works on both up and down strokes and seems well enough built but it’s MUCH shorter than the pump that came with my paddle board, and at a short enough height that it almost seems intentionally designed to cause back pain.I really wish this was better.

works well
Works well. Keep in mind it's low to the ground so you have to bend your back the entire time you pump, and because it pumps as you pull and push, it's a workout. My friends have taller ones that don't require you to bend the entire time, but this one is small enough to throw into the kayak, so it's worth it for me. If you're just pumping next to your car or house then I'd get a taller one.

Nice pump with Air Pressure gauge!
Bought this to go with my Advanced Elements Kayak since I needed a pump that had a pressure gauge on it. It pumps up pretty fast and gives good, clear reading of the air pressure so I don't overfill my kayak. I had used an electric air pump before but it did not have any way to tell what the air pressure was.
