Best thing about this mat - it keeps all my gear from getting soggy from ground contact! I used to use a beach towel. Until it got muddy from lying on a soggy patch! UGH! Also, the bright orange color makes it easy to spot my transition area! Rolls up just like a yoga mat and comes with a fastening strap. So glad I got this!

Used this during my first triathlon a few weeks back. The transition area was basically a parking lot, so having a mat to stand on in an asphalt parking lot was nice. Folds up easily, and has a space for you to write your name on it with a black sharpie marker. Works better than just a towel. Very comfortable under your bare feet.

This is a very simple transition accessory that makes a surprising difference. For starters, it is very easy to find your transition spot when running through. I got the orange, and the bright color makes it very easy to find even in very crowded/cramped transitions. The mat has a smooth top and a rubber grip bottom that keeps it in place. The top is not as absorbent as a towel would be, but it still provides a soft place to stand while changing shoes etc. Previously I did not use any type of ground cover during transition, so having a place to dry/wipe off the bottoms of my feet was a nice surprise. The best advantage over a towel, however, is the ease of cleanup. The top does not stain easily and can be washed off in the shower or with a hose. Most of the time, however, just shaking off the dirt and debris is more than sufficientBottom line: This is not a critical accessory for racing or training, but it is extremely nice to have for both finding your stuff and making for a more comfortable transition.

Used it for the first time in a race yesterday, and it was great. Not too big and not too small, fit right in between my bike and the person next to me int he transition area. Also very easy to see as I was looking for my bike.

The T-Mat Pro Transition Mat is much better than using a folded beach towel. This mat is neoprene on the top and rubber on the bottom. That makes cleaning it off really easy. I just rinse it in the shower or tub after rinsing off my wetsuit. It's better than having to throw an extra beach towel in the washing machine and dryer each time.

I love this mat. Most of my tri gear is orange. One big reason I like this color is it really stands out in transition. Rolls up and closes with an attached velcro strap. I also like the area where you can write your name on it with a Sharpie. All in all I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

I have used this at a few triatholons now and like it and the color, helps me spot my stuff quick. Easy to roll up and store in your bag too. It works and if I ever wear it out I would get another.
