For anyone who has played both, how does this compare to Hunt a Killer cases?

I've recently done one of each and my opinion Hunt a Killer to be better than the Cryptic Killers. The Hunt a Killer box was better quality and I felt like I had a better handle on where to go with the clues. They Cryptic Killers was ok but Hunt a Killer was defintely better in my opinion.

Is this appropriate for 15 year olds?

Absolutely! We did this activity with our 15 year old daughter. We probably wouldn’t have solved it without her! She was great at the pieces that involved technology.

Is there a suspect list of characters we can see before hand? Trying to pick a game where we already have some props.

There is no suspect list, however, all the clues provided will allow you to build one. Plus there’s online clues and help if you need it. I thought it was really fun!
