Q: How does this break down and does it store easy.

It kind of rolls up like the spring loaded shades for our car. It arrives in a pear shaped bag shipped in a 16 x 23 x 4" box. Due to the springy nature of the hood the bag always seems small. If you have trouble figuring out how to stuff the Dust Hood into it's bag give us a call and I will send you a link to a video showing how its done.

Q: Will this work with a 12-in dual beveled miter saw?

Absolutely, I have used it with a Bosch 12" dual bevel full sliding saw, and the one I now have which is the Makita 12" dual bevel full sliding saw. Both these saws have the rails that go all the way back and there is plenty of room. This is the best dust collection system for he miter saw I've ever used. Why? because you have a well designed shroud shape with baffles that move the dust downward towards a real 4" dust port. You can also use a second vacuum off the top/back of your saw simultaneously.

Q: I haven't found a switch for the light. Am I missing something?

Your not missing anything. We could not find a switch that we could trust in a dusty environment. I use a splitter on the end of an extension cord but then I am moving my stand all over the place. My brother attached a power strip to the back of his stand and tied up the cord with wire ties. It turned out nicely sanitary.

Q: I have a Ridgid 12" sliding Miter saw mounted to a bench, will this work for it? I only use the saw for straight sliding cuts, never angle cuts.

This dust collection bonnet will work with a saw that cuts on all angles. I have a Dewalt 12". The bonnet can be used with your 12" Rigid . You will have to augment the mounting brackets as I had to do for my Dewalt.
