The description says this hat should fit head sizes up to 7-3/8, in U.S. measurements. (The hat uses a three-fourths-inch-wide annular band around the inside of the hat to allow it to fit heads of varying size.) I concur. My hat size is 7-1/2, and the hat was just a touch small for me: it tended to ride up on my head, but I was able to wear it. It looks great and worked very well for the costume with which I used it. The brim is not rigid, but it is stiff enough not to droop. The workmanship seems good. I can't comment fully on durability, but in the 16 hours I wore it I saw no signs of wear and no color transfer. I'm very pleased with this purchase overall.

The hat was of good quality. Because it was shipped in a box much smaller than the hat, the brim was damaged with a deep crease. Needless to say, the hat is unwearable.

For the price, this is a good hat. It's not a cheap costume prop, nor is it really high quality. It's somewhere in between. If you wear it for other than a Halloween costume, expect to get strange looks from your neighbors. I am thinking of putting a turquoise stone band around it to turn it into a billy jack hat.It will keep your head warm in mild winter weather and keep the sun out of your eyes during the summer. I have only had it for about a week, but I like it. It is thin enough to be worn during the summer.

This hat answered my questions about what the Amish do in the rain. The first time I wore it, it was pouring, but that was why I got it. It did a good job of keeping my glasses dry, and even though I didn’t look like billy Frank, it never soaked through and kept it’s shape. I have now worn it through several rainstorms, and as an all purpose hat I can recommend it.The only thing that I would like to change is the strange elastic sewn in as the sweatband. I still might do something about that. Feels like a head gasket. But overall nice quality and fit.

This is a great hat for the purpose of our play. The director loved it! It looks like very good quality, great price. It is a large size but our kids are large teens. I plan to put some soft foam in to make it fit.

Got it for my husband. He is a Quaker and thought it looked like the hat on the Quaker Oats Cereal box. Great quality and he loves it. Says it keeps his head warm and also provides shade for his eyes when he works outside.

The shipment was fast, although the box was a bit to small for the hat so it was bent on the brim it did get back into shape eventually. The band on the hat makes it look cheap so I removed it and decided to make one of my own. When removing the band it is glued on some spots. The fit was a alright at first but once I shaped it to my head a bit and played with it, it fits just fine. Nice hat once you make some minor tweaks to it. My hat size is usually 7 3/8
