This comes weirdly packaged I guess for shipping purposes. It comes back to the shape in the picture within 10 minutes. I use it on the couch while watching TV. Supports my lower back just fine.

I originally bought this to assist in supporting my lower back while doing floor ab exercises but there was little give in the pillow even with my weight directly on it. I then tried to use it as lumbar support at my office chair but it forced me so far forward that I could barely keep my butt on the chair. However, it did seem like good quality material, and for someone looking for intense support, I believe it would be a viable option.

I absolutely love this pillow! It is a great quality memory type foam. It is soft yet firm and thick enough to be very supportive for my bad back. I love it on the couch, In the car, in my bed and at my desk! It works for your low back, mid back or upper back Get one! 😀 You will love it.

This lumbar support pillow is very comfortable and does provide good support; however, the zipper quality is very poor. It split open and will not zip shut.

Unlike regular rectangular pillows, this one fits the contour of your back and had a protruding disc that actually hits the lower spine. I don't actually have a spinal issue but it feels great and would be especially nice for those who do. Also an appropriate "kidney" shape. I wasn't prepared for the way it arrives compressed and expands on opening into its final shape, like a foam "space"mattress I bought once. I assume the same procedure is required here... you have to just allow it to unfold and decompress over a long period without forcing it open to avoid breaking it in two. There were no instructions to that effect in my package so caveat emptor.

Very nice. This cushion has made a huge difference on my back pain. I would not be without it.

My physical therapist advised me to purchase a lumbar pillow. Unfortunately, when I tried it out, it was uncomfortable. There is a rounded centered protrusion which was uncomfortable on my lumbar spine. I showed it to my therapist and she laughed. She had never seen a pillow with this shape. She said, "we can fix this" and after removing the pillow from its case she proceeded with a pair of shears to cut away the protrusion. Wow! it worked great so I would recommend it but do minor surgery on it first. LOL!
