OtterBox Defender Series Case for Pixel 6 - Fort Blue

This was purchased by me as a requested Christmas gift, so I don't have personal experience with it.The feedback that I get though, is that although the case is larger than a wallet type, it is extremely effective in use.It is a superb fit and with a little modification in use, you will quickly adapt to the larger size and grow to appreciate the protection it gives.For me, I probably would not have purchased it for myself due to the cost.

The belt clip has unexpectedly dumped the phone several times. Admittedly not that often, however ONE TIME can make for a really bad day if you don't see it happen. I am careful to make sure my shirt doesn't get pinched in between and all that, however it has let go of the phone at least 6 times since purchase-- one of those (luckily landed inside) dumped the phone by the driver's door of my work car, which meant for me-- no phone all weekend. And just yesterday it randomly dropped it out and I noticed because I kicked it with my foot as it was falling. NO ISSUES WITH THE CASE -- Just PLEASE make the belt holder more robust.

I literally can't deal with any case that isn't an Otterbox. Just skip all the cheap imitations and get the real thing. For those that say it should have a screen protector built in, I say meh. Older Defender cases used to do this but not any more. It wasn't a good idea back then and isn't a good idea now. Those same people complaining it doesn't have the screen protector would be the first ones to rip Otterbox the second they scratched the built in screen protectors saying, "now I need to buy a new case just becasue the screen protector is damaged".This thing is perfect. Don't mess with perfection.

It's a great case, durable, and just feels like it could survive a high fall and be ok. Just makes the phone feel a bit chunky when holding it, but really isnt a big deal because it's so insignificant. I got the blue and it's nice looking. You get what you pay for, and this takes that very literally. would recommend for anyone looking for a phone case. Just makes sure you aren't buying the Pro case for you standard pixel 6 and vice versa, because I didn't read closely enough and made that mistake at first.

My old phone has an Otterbox case & that case is excellent! Just to be fair I did look at other cases for my new phone, but none were convincing enough to give me reason to stray from the Otterbox.I like the dual layer of protection. My old phone case has the soft layer on the inside, hard layer on the outside. This one is the opposite, hard on inside, soft on outside, which makes it even easier to grip.& I did not want a case that had a kickstand built into the case, having the kickstand on a separate protective cover better suits me.Of course, this case is pricier than the others I looked at, but worth it. Caught it on sale at Amazon :O)
