Like others, I got rid of the cable box, and I did not want blaring blue light. This is perfect! I can adjust the brightness and the low is not too bright, it is big enough but not too big and it is red. It does more than I want... date and temp but whatever. Supposed there is a voice feature? I can't speak to that. I am a little annoyed bc I would not have ordered it if I saw that. Some things to note: 1. You CAN display TIME only! I contacted the seller and below is what they told me. I tried it and it worked. The following are the detailed operations of the loop display function: In temperature mode, long press the MODE button, you will hear a beep, which means that the time, date, and temperature are displayed in turn. Long press the MODE button again to display the time all the time. 2. You need to plug it in to have the display stay lit. It has a USB plug, so if you do not have a port nearby you will need a brick to plug in--like the one from your cellphone. 3. The directions that are on here are way easier to read. :)

I love this clock. It is bright (but can be dimmed). It is just the right size that I can put it in front of my TV withoit blocking the screen. It has date and temperature options which I set but probably won't use since I already have a weather station. It was easy to set time etc. I like that the numbers are bigger and clearer than my previous clock that quit working. I can easily see it from across the room without squinting or straining my eyes The features are sufficient for me. It looks bright and cheerful. It does take 3 AAA batteries but I used the USB cord and plugged it in to help save batteries. All in all, it was a good value. It seems I'm replacing electric clocks every year or two, so I hope this one lasts longer.

I loved it, it's not too bright for me, and I was able to decipher the instructions to set it. I bought the multi-colored one and it's friggin adorable. But this morning before noon, when the first digit isn't even needed yet, it started glowing and blinking and glitching. Very sad cause it's cute as heck, but clearly there's a reason it only cost $10. I won't be buying a replacement.

Bought this for my mother who can't distinguish smaller LED clocks from a distance. This is battery operated, but I did not read on the description that while under battery power, the LED will read for 16 secs and turn off into a power saving mode. It will turn back on if moved, but that wont work if its sitting at a distance. So i ended up plugging it in which will keep the LED on all the time. For the price and LED size, cant go wrong. I would buy again and may have to for my moms sister who is 1 year older. LOL

I recently got rid of cable, and low and behold...there are no more clocks in my house! So I was in the market for some inexpensive clocks to keep in my bedroom and my living room. These clocks are fine - easy to set, lots of options - but there are a few major issues. One, the cord is not long enough to plug in to an outlet. The cord is maybe 8 inches. There is no way it would reach my outlet. Two, I would happily use an extended USB cord...but it's NOT USB compatible! One end (for the charger) is USB compaitable, but the other end is a DV (rounded shape) plug. Okay, so it's compatible with batteries...cool. The issue is that when it runs on batteries, it conserves power so it does not show the time unless you shout or clap. That's cool, but in the middle of the night, I am not clapping to see what time it is. So...if you are using this and plugging it into a computer so that you have a clock at your desk, this will fit your needs. Otherwise, you're better off finding other clocks.

Just what i needed Mt eyesight is failing due to AMD. The clock is bright a has large numbers. I don't recommend the battery use however, it shuts down and you have to touch it torun it on. When plugged in it is on continuously. Need a clock you can see, this is it

The dimmable clock gives good options for light and dark situations. Easy to set and a competitive price. I would recommend

This clock has not proved to be a good and reliable clock. Not only are the controls in the back poorly laid out and feel cheaply made, the display is now 'bleeding' over and flickering so that sections the led number display are being half lit up making it harder to read. Regret buying it. Recommend going with a more quality and expensive option.
