These things are super sturdy. I was surprised at how heavy and solid they are. They extend quite a bit and easily fit my bikes.

This is perfect for hanging my electric bike behind my RV. The quality is good and strong enough for electric bike which is heavier than normal bike. It is extendable so that I can adjust it to fit my bike. It is easy to attach or remove from bike. Very satisfied.

After looking through dozens of other wimpy adapters, I was very happy to find this one - a rare design that is engineered to hold e-bikes that are heavier than conventional bikes. I figured that I'd rather invest a little more in a truly sturdy adapter, than see my expensive e-bikes fall off the car and get mangled.

The adapter is a must for e-bikes. It is easy to install and remove. The instructions are lacking. The illustration shows the bar connecting below the handlebar and seat. However when I did that and secured the bike to the rack, the bar slipped down the seat tube and the bike fell off

Works great to help my lady (step through) beach cruiser fit on my standard tow hitch style bike rack!!

We also have their hitch, this is must if you have a step through bike without the center bar, Its very easy to take on and off, holds my wife very securely as we RV all around the country, Have had no issues.

I recently bought an E-bike, and it is very heavy; I was looking for a solid, Heavy-duty bar so I could mount my bike on the car bike rack. if you have an e-bike, this is the one. Well built, solid; love it. Highly recommended.

The bar itself and the button release mechanism are very well built. The hook ends are plastic so they won't mar the paint on your bike. But the biggest drawback is that these bars do NOT lock. They extend in and out, which can put your bike at risk. For example, after hitting some bumps on the road, the one bar slide down from the seat stem further onto the frame because the bar had slid open further. Thankfully the bike was secured and under the hook from the rack, so it just bounced around a bit. When you put these on, the ONLY thing keeping it from sliding open is the tension from the bike rack hook, not these faux bars. The way my frame is, I can now slide the bar below the seat stem to the frame and still have a good mounting spot, but it may not work for your design. I don't know if other designs are like this or not, but I would feel a lot better if I could lock in the length of the bar once it was in place. These are well built, but lacking in safety for your bikes. (For reference I transport 2 50+ lb ebikes on my rack and each bike uses one of these bars).

This item has been returned as I returned my electric bicycle. I did however try the adapter bar on my e bike and it fit and worked flawlessly. Really heavy duty and secure. Appears to be good value for money. Based on my very short inspection and installation of this adapter I believe anyone purchasing this item would be quite satisfied.

These seem very sturdy and made fastening step-through bike on a bike rack very easy and secure.

We did not keep these as they were to heavy to add to our bike system on a rv. On a car or truck I would highly recommend.
