WEN 6524SP80 80-Grit Combination Belt and Sleeve Sandpaper Set, 24-Pack

I purchased the WEN sanding belt and sleeve sets in 80, 120 and 240 grit, along with 500–600 grit sanding sponge blocks, and they have been perfect for the woodworking projects I've been making. One of my current projects is what I call my Mini Faithful Journey Staffs, which I shape from wood. There are lots of curves and transitions that need to be shaped, smoothed and refined, so having several different grits critical. I start with the 80 grit when I need more aggressive shaping and material removal, then work my way through the 120 and 240 grit to smooth and refine the wood. I finish with the 500–600 grit sanding sponges, which are especially nice for hand sanding the curves and getting the staff really smooth before applying the finish. The WEN belts and sleeves work perfectly with my WEN 6524 Oscillating Belt and Spindle Sander, and having the different sleeve sizes is particularly useful when I'm working around the curves of these staffs. The sanding and shaping are what really give these little staffs their finished look, and having the right progression of grits is crucial in that process. I've included a picture of one of my Mini Faithful Journey Staffs so you can see the type of project I've been using these on. I'm very pleased with all of these sanding products and will definitely keep them stocked in my workshop. Five stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
