Alternative Medicine Definitive

Truely an awesome book and when Deepak Chopra endorses the book then the book doesnot need further comments.Just go for it.It has amazing alternative thearapies.

This is a bloody big book but worth the money. Don't be put off by any negative reviews, this stuff works, I have seen it work in myself & others and so have hundreds of thousands of others, who cares if allopaths don't know how homeopathy works say, if it works it works, thousands of years of clinical evidence should be enough for everyone IMHO, I would add that the contact numbers and address are all American, would love to see a UK version, other than that, info you want a general introduction to about almost all Natural (original & authentic) Medicine, then get this book, don't be put off by any die hard positivist reviewers, they would deny the truth if it slapped them in the face.

Fantastic bible! This book is pretty much all you need to keep healthy in todays polluted world.

Beside to this book, I at the same time, half a year ago, also bought a copy of the "Mosby's Dictionary of Medicine, Nursing & Heath Professions". But while the Mosby's is mostly a lexicon explaining what's hiding in the actual words, and besides is showing to where the authorities now have reached, and are accepting, when it come to medicine. Opposite to this the "Alternative Medicine" besides also brings many further advices telling much of all of the known alternative medical methods which also now a days are being used for solving the actual medical problems. And in this book, based on the knowledge and experience from more than 400 persons, M.D. and Ph.D., we in many cases are told the names of doctors who have come with the actual advise. And in most of the cases we as proposals are getting a lot of different possibilities. My reason for buying this book is that through out history we again and again have seen how authorities for years have waited to start on using healing methods which persons have shown to be better than what until then had been used and thought. So therefore to be up to date much knowledge we will be missing if we only are owing books like the Mosby's. Looking back on history we for example 350 years ago had an English captain who on his ship always gave fruit to the seamen, and after having been around on all of the oceans returned home to England with all of his sailors still being alive, opposite to the normal only being 50 %. And then around 200 later a person in the English navy proved how necessary it was to get fruit while being out on the oceans, not yet knowing the C vitamin. But after this it took more than 40 years before the English navy started giving fruits. And for example we still are remembering that when Linus Pauling 40 years ago started talking about how much C vitamin helps for many things, how the medical firms then opposite to this even were telling us that we might die if we got too much C vitamin! Or how for example, at nearly the same time, Kilmer S. McCully, M.D., after some years were fired from Harvard Medical School, because having discovered the potential importance in Homocysteine, and thereby disproved much on what earlier had been "proved" by some colleges, and what was internationally thought. So for being up to date, and thereby having the possibility for getting the best doctor advises, or maybe controlling what being told from doctors, we need to read in books like "Alternative Medicine. The Definitive Guide".
