This product is the best! I dreaded having to spend the money to buy a new chair. Easy to plug in,once you get the chair turned over! It works like a charm!!

I needed to replace my well used wired hand control on a UltraComfort Model #UC480-MLA Lift Chair. After trying to get an OEM replacement direct from the manufacturer (they didn't have any as the chair is 10+ yo) I tried an open search for the part # (ZKUC-20-1) online. I kept getting linked back to Amazon. So, I looked at the generic options. This product has a longer cord which I like. It is the standard 5 pin configuration used for these chairs. It has only two buttons for up and down. My only concern was this item has an angled head and my OEM connector was straight and connected into a piece with a safety locking bar so the two connecting pieces can't separate and leave you stranded in an up or down position, which is a nice feature. Even though, the longer cord was what sold me, and I hoped the angled head wouldn't prevent the connection. Installation took about 1 minute and angled head fits fine.Perhaps the nicest thing about this was the speedy delivery. I spend most of my time in this chair, including sleeping overnight, I needed the replacement fast, because the old control had a short in the wiring and wouldn't always work. I purchased this on a Monday, and it arrived in less than 24 hours.This is an excellent value. At $20.99 it is half the price of some other generics and at some other vendors.
