SMP Well

A bike saddle is a very personal thing. Not only that, but comfort is not just depended on the saddle but how the saddle is adjusted on the bike. I'm tired the prologo dimension space. Nice saddle but I couldn't ride it without padded pants. I heard a lot about selle smp and decided to take a shot with it. I'm glad I did. My first ride out was only about 45 minutes (without padded shorts) and I knew I had found my seat. No discomfort at all and I didn't have to move around in the seat like I did with the prologo. I ride a Cannondale topstone 2 gravel bike.

I started to wear this saddle a few years ago. This one is for new bike. Very confortable and a great look.

Switched from a Specialized Toupe which was okay and I had ridden on it for years. It worked for me on most long rides, 40-60miles weekly, but recently I set up the indoor trainer getting ready for winter, I found I couldn't go over 10miles without wanting to get off. So I started looking and after enough reviews I gave the SMP a try, very glad I did, it is 100% more comfortable and I even did 20miles last night on the trainer with no problems. Highly recommend this saddle. Next up I'm putting an SMP TRK Large on the trainer to see how it does, keeping the Well for outdoor riding.

Best thing I have bought for my bike and really works to keep you comfortable in long ride

I can’t say enough good things about this saddle; this replaced the stock seat on my 2021 Trek Domane AL2 which was excruciating after about five miles. Very long rides are possible now. It positions my seat bones just right, is decently light and just enough padding and flex to absorb road impact....important on a road bike. The well in the contour keeps me from sliding around into the wrong position. The thing screams quality. It’s not cheap but not as expensive as some. You can’t place a price when the 20th mile of a ride is coming up and you feel like you can just keep on going. It’s large enough for good rear support yet narrow enough for not interfering with those sprints up hills.I experience prostate pain on most saddles, this one is better than most. A little uncomfortability coming off a long ride but that’s common for me. If you have similar issues, you’ll do well with this saddle.100% chance I’d buy it again.

Very comfortable saddle once the tilt is adjusted correctly. The weight is distributed at various places on the saddle and hence you can go on longer rides without having saddle discomfort. See instructions on Selle SMP website for saddle tilt adjustment.Replaced a Romin Evo Gel.

Been riding a bike for 40 years. As you get older you loose protective muscle on your sit bones so you need more padding. I have switched to using This saddle on three of my bikes now and can ride many more miles in comfort that my older saddles that were comfortable in my younger days.

Most comfortable saddle I’ve owned right out of the box and I’ve owned them all. I couldn’t figure out the price point. Most SMP’s at this weight are $250 and this was $125. Not leather, my bad for not digging further, but turns out I really like it for summer in Texas. I’m soaked and so is my saddle in 10 minutes and this thing rode the same wet or dry. It has a lot more padding then my Fizik Arione, so it is a good choice for centuries.
