Q: Will these fit a vw golf mk1?

I wouldn't know. But never use a higher wattage bulb then what the car manufacturer recommends i.e. 65 watt. This is because the wireing in the vehicle may burn out due to the increase current (amps) I use higher brightness bulbs from Osram or Philips same wattage but depending on which one may be 150% brighter.

Q: Is there anything on the packaging to say if they are OK to use in a plastic headlight dish? I want to use on a motorcycle with a platic headlight.

I’ve had a look at the package and there is nothing about use in plastic headlamps. Bear in mind that these are halogen bulbs and they do give off heat but I doubt it would be hot enough to damage the plastic. I don’t know for sure and it might be wise to seal advice from your local motorcycle centre. If you live in Sheffield I recommend Manhattan Motorcycles in Heeley south Sheffield. Best regards Mark
