Works. rubber pads were off upon arrival. Stuck Chicago screws are UNSTUCK
I've seen the reviews complaining that the rubber pads on the jaws were rolling around in the bag. OK. Absolutely true. That happened to me. They arrived already off. They are cheap rubber with inadequate glue. I agree. I'm over it. I put a piece of bicycle tube over the flat side and used the O-ring on the other side. I think I read that in another review somewhere. Worked perfectly. The Jaws were the perfect size and clamping the vice grip shut made it very easy to unscrew the stuck Chicago screw and post in my leather belts and other leather goods. Maybe I should have taken off a star for the cheap glue used to stick the rubber pads, but I am so happy to be able to unstick those screws, a little hillbilly engineering doesn't bother me at all. If that is too much for you, then maybe you shouldn't buy these. The rubber pads most likely will arrive loose in the bag.

I give it a zero if I could but Weaver will replace it
The media could not be loaded. I used this product only one time to remove 3 screws. Got the first two out okay but by the third screw, one of the pads fell off. It was so bad that I couldn't even get out the fourth screw. The thin, cheap, inefficient double-sided adhesive used to connect the pads to the tool has completely disintegrated so that the pads no longer hold the screw inert. I called the company directly because I was out of the time period for returns. The company will be sending me a new tool so I will see how that goes.

Helpful tool.
Plastic pieces had tape with no stickum. I replaced it and they work nicely.

Did the job - cabrats
The solid rubber piece was not attached to the tool. A quick dab of barge cement, and letting it dry overnight fixed that.I needed to remove two Chicago screws from a Kydex holster which had threadlocker on them so they just spun when I turned the external screw. As you can see from the photos, the tool didn’t quite fit. I removed the retention screw so that I could open up the holster and the tool was able to slip inside.I wish they had one with a smaller arm on the solid rubber side but it served its purpose.

Poor quality
Technically the tool works so I gave it two stars but it's pretty poor quality. The rubber pieces inside the clamping jaws fell off within seconds of opening the package.

Rubber Grips Fall Off IMMEDIATELY!!???!!
Handy tool, but both rubber grip pads fell off IMMEDIATELY. No use in returning it, because other reviewers say the same thing, so I assume they are ALL like this. Glued on with E6000 which should hold them on until they fall off again!! Big tube for $3.57 on Amazon should keep me in business for a while!! 🤔 Good thing the tool is for occasional use only. The tool works well, except for the design flaw with the pads. I've seen another similar tool with a snap in pad, but no locking mechanism, so this one is still my choice because of that feature. Good enough for non-commercial use.

Worthless
Breaks instantly. Gives you no leverage.Try this instead: get any sticky tape and use it grab hold of the pin side then screw. Works as good as anything.

Works great
Works great and allows you to put a little torque without scratching the screw or leather.
