Seriously, under $5 ?? SOLD!…
PROs: Angled blade is ergonomic, very effective for various cutting jobs. And because the blade is fixed, non-retractable, it doesn’t wobble around at all or retract on its own into the handle during a forceful cut. Plus the fixed blade means you can keep it pretty sharp with a couple passes over a sharpening stone or on a fine grit grinding wheel, more so than with the wobbly retractable type. And you can’t argue with a price under $5. Nice little tool. Ships with one new blade safely stored inside the handle, accessible with a phillips or sloted screwdriver. And that little storage niche inside the handle will hold several extra IRWIN-style notched blades that you might purchase separately. CONs: The fixed blade is always exposed and wicked sharp! Being careful of it takes a little mental work if you’ve always used the retractable cutters before.
