I love everything about these

I've been wanting to try silicone bags, but the price has put me off. So I got this one to give a try. All I've done is put some frozen ground sausage in it and tossed it in to thaw with pasta as it cooked. It worked great. My main concern, I had a hard time getting it closed. It was unclear in the pictures, but had me worried when I got this. My thumbs don't work so well any more and arthritis in the fingers, I need super easy to open and close stuff. This bag has a thick round on one side that you put into the thin layer on the other side of the bag. Once I got it there it sealed well. I didn't try to squeeze it like I've read in some other reviews, as I'm sure that would have resulted in a little bag explosion. But it stayed sealed as it didn't fill with water as it boiled with my pasta. I was impressed. It was easy to open, empty, and then It cleaned right up, no sausage grease issue at all. I still love this little bag. I may even get a couple more as I think it's the perfect size for my apples n such in my lunch bag, and it will stand up while I'm slicing the apple. Way better than plastic bags. UPDATE: My first try with my apples was a fail. It is in fact the perfect size for one apple sliced and with a bit of lemon juice and cinnamon. I set it in my bag, went to work and it had turned upside-down in my bag. And it had opened. After cleaning up my bag, I put it in a plastic bag and set it in my bag again. Later, it had turned upside-down again in the plastic bag, son no added mess. I think this bag is top heavy and just ends up turned over. I was unaware of squeezing it in any way, so I am unsure how that happened, but I don't trust it for travel any more. I'll continue to use it, in the house!

You really have to play around with this to have it sealed. It’s a nice size and washes well but I don’t think I would purchase it again.

I really love these food hugger bags. Such a great replacement for plastic baggies. These are especially great for my teenagers who are always snacking, since they hold quite a lot.

Too small. Cannot get it to seal shut.

I use tons of plastic zipper bags to store cut fruit and such so thought this would be fine but the zipper isn't great. It's hard to engage and doesn't seal well. Better luck next time!
