I was Skeptical...
I needed a Sony alpha series camera at a good price and I have been researching since December.... Seemed that it was expensive everywhere (Best buy, Wal-Mart, Target, Adorama, just to name a few places I looked). Only to check Amazon and found this.I was skeptical at first because it's so much cheaper than the others. It doesn't say that it's new as well so called the seller to confirm. Yeah it's new! Then called Sony to make sure I could use an international version in the US without any issues with firmware updates, etc. Sure enough, they confirmed this as well. So I purchased it. With a 4 year service plan of course... just incase... which still made it way cheaper than any other place and no tax either.The box and invoice the camera came with was super dirty but apart from that, everything was perfect. Watched a lot of YouTube videos to get my camera settings right and it takes some really great pictures. I got a Meike 35mm 1.7 manual lens to go with it because I'll mostly be taking portrait photos for my business. So far so good.

Good used Camera
I just received the camera, but I’ve been working with it to figure everything out. The body has some wear and tear, but as far as I can tell so far everything works! I will say, I did have to send the first shipment back because I was sent the a5000 first. But the company worked with me and I was sent the correct camera the second time. The preview picture of the product on the listing is a little bit deceiving, since they send you the body of the camera only— no lens. The lens in my video I purchased separately. I’ve tried multiple times to attach a video to this review though and it won’t work. Overall the camera is functional as far as I can tell! I got what I paid for! It is a good used camera.
