That was exactly my case! Berta frameless full overlay hinges worked for me. You just have to adjust for 1/2 inch overlay after installing

Thank you for your interest in our product. This hinges are not face frame. For 1/2 inch overlay face frame cabinets we have another product. Please refer to it. We have them in sales as 20 pack and 40 pack.

Q: can these be inserted with a blum minipress

The Blum Press would work fine if you already own one, but you do not need it- you can simply use a handheld drill and a 1 3/8" forester bit to drill the 1/2 " deep hole needed for the hinge.
