Would this fit a 29/2.5 tire?

The description says it is "compatible with 26”, 27.5’’ & 29” wheel diameters". I installed this on my 26" fat tire with no issues. As for the width, the fender is a little over 3". It does not completely cover my 5" tires but your 2.5 tires should be a perfect fit.

can these be cut to size...I have toe overlap and don't want to keep kicking it. Also can these be used on a rigid fork?

You cannot cut this one, but they offer it in a smaller size.

Has anyone used this on rear wheel?

I used the short one on my rear. 2020 Giant Stance 29 I did have to make new holes. It was not difficult at all. If you own a mountain bike, you should have the skill and common sense to figure it out. Best fender out there for the rear.

The MugGuard is 85mm wide and will fit most standard MTB suspension forks fitted with disc brakes and a forward-facing arch. Please measure the width of the fork below the arch, to ensure compatibility. The 'legs' of the guard extend down 150mm, please ensure there is no more than 140mm distance from the underside of the arch to the top of the 'lowers' to allow room for the fasteners. The MugGuard is highly unlikely to fit between older rim style brakes (V Brakes) and is unlikely to fit a rigid fork.
