Q: What kind of 'non-standard' batteries? Hard to get replacements??

The packaging on both my C and G hooks says: Be sure to use Knit Lite / Crochet Lite G3-A Replacement batteries Art. No. 3994 or 3987. Looks like Amazon sells these: http://www.amazon.com/Cornerstone-Products-3994-Crochet-Replacement/dp/B00BVHF6Z0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413136999&sr=8-1&keywords=g3-a+crochet+lite. Most manufacturers are going to encourage you to purchase their batteries (if they make them), but I think any G3-A battery would do.
