Q: Can it charge MacBook Pro?

Short answer is No. This is a USB 2.0 version of the USB-C cable which is fine for charging things up to 15W (such as phones). For a Mac Book, you will need a USB 3.1 USB-C cable (which may also be labeled as a Thunderbold 3 cable if it's an Apple product) which is capable of delivering a much higher amount of power. USB 3.1 cables specifically have a chip in them that allows the device to operate at higher speeds and power loads (and typically cost a little more). Depending on the which MacBook you have, it's going to need a cable that can handle either 61W (13-Inch MacBook) or 87W (15-Inch MacBook). Look for cables that specifically state they support the power rating you need or higher, or- if it's a USB 3.1 cable- has a voltage and amperage number that can be multiplied to the wattage you need (5V x 3A = 15W for instance).

Q: Does this work for fast charging Pixel 2?

It's not a good idea - Pixel 2's charger is USB PD 18W and this cable is only rated for 15W (5V @ 3A). Using a cable under-rated for the charger risks damaging the phone - I'm returning mine.
