TEMPUR-Up Foundation, Queen

Creaking and noisy foundation. Tried multiple ways (tightening bolts and lubricated connections, etc) to decrease amounts of irritating “popping” when getting in/out of bed, but nothing works. Such an expensive mistake.

I've never had an adjustable base for a bed, but man am I glad I have one now. Simply put, this thing is amazing.Given it has the name "Tempurpedic" on it, it's insanely expensive. There are other adjustable bed foundations that are cheaper. The materials are nothing special - mdf and fabric.The thing is massive. I got a twin XL and had to have scheduled delivery. You will need at least 2, if not more, people to help you move it into place. It's awkward, cumbersome, and some expletives might be mentioned while moving it. But once you get it where you want, it's amazing.We have two twin XL in our king frame so my wife and I can adjust to whatever we want. We do not have Tempurpedic mattresses, mainly because we're not millionaires. We have mattresses from an online mattress company, and it is perfect.The remote works well to adjust both the headboard and baseboard. It's not too loud and moves at a good speed. It's so nice to be able to sit up and feed our baby, read a book, or watch TV without having to use 10 pillows to prop me up. I don't know how we lived without this. Highly recommended, but be mindful of the price!

We paired this with a Tempur-Legacy mattress and could not be happier. It is fast and easy to set up -- IF you have some strong friends. It works like a dream and having the ability to raise the head of the bed is a luxury I wish I had discovered years ago. Raising the head of the bed just a little actually does stop my husband's snoring. Raising it more makes for very comfortable reading and raising it a lot allows relaxing TV viewing. But fair warning sleeping on your side with the head raised significantly will result in a stiff neck. My only complaint is that it arrived damaged. There was a tear in the box that went through to the top of the foundation cover and tore it also. Because that part of the foundation is never seen (it is under the mattress) it was not a big deal, but if I had bought it in a store I would have sent it back and told them to bring another one. And you really do need three or four people to place this into the bed frame. It is VERY heavy and unwrapping it and getting it into the bedroom (thank heavens we have a one story house) was a chore in itself but we had to wait for the arrival of friends to get it in the frame. Not having set up as part of delivery is another downside of buying online -- but we managed and we are certainly glad we bought this foundation. When paired with the mattress it is the best night's sleep we have BOTH gotten in 19 years of marriage.

There was a delay with my order but my friend purchased one of these and when she found out I was getting one she demanded I come over and try it right away. I need two of these for a king size bed and shipping on one is taking a bit longer than expected but it is so going to be worth the wait after trying hers.It is so nice to lay down in a bed and be able to position yourself up with the push of a remote to watch tv or read a book. It moves a lot slowly and actually more quickly than I thought it would. Just be warned, because I had to listen to this for over an hour, this is HEAVY. She also has a king size bed so had to do the same setup. It took her and three other people to get each one in place on the bed frame and if you don't have a solid bed frame it may not be strong enough to hold this.I literally sat on her bed for over an hour playing with this watching her tv before it got awkward and she kicked me off. I cannot WAIT until mine arrives. If anything changes when I get mine I'll update my review but I'm already in love. It's all true. Good things come to those who wait.

Though my guest rooms have Queen and King size beds, my bed is just a Twin. I mean, it's just me, and I don't do a lot of moving while in bed, so it has fit my needs just fine. What's great about this foundation by Tempur, however, is that I am able to adjust my comfort UNDER the mattress in a way that will help me rest better.It's really cool that you can operate this by a remote and get it to a place that fits your particular body and comfort. It's a twin size foundation but be advised that it's NOT light. iF you can have help with it in moving it about that is best. If not it will just take a little time so just pace yourself as I had to.Once on the bed it's easy to maneuver and operate. A great addition to my bed and my desire to rest as well as I can.

We put this on our guest room bed so our guest could sit up. We've had compliments that they put head of bed up to read to their little daughter at bedtime. Also they loved watching tv in bed. It's controlled with a remote and once you're ready to lower it's as easy as pushing a button on the remote. We certainly were happy to have this TEMPUR-Up foundation for the queen guest bed. Very happy with this product!

I always wanted one of those Craftmatic adjustable beds they showed on TV. As someone with acid reflux I always prop my bed up anyway with pillows and bricks so this seemed like a better solution. I have a full size mattress so this is a bit too narrow but it still works. I have a memory foam mattress that I also got from Vine and there wasn't any problem with elevating it. Maybe someday though I'd get a mattress that would fit without the overlap. Or get another one of these and a king size mattress. We can dream, right?

This foundation provides amazing comfort and versatility. The remote works well and the adjustability is ideal for anyone, including the elderly and infirm. It is now comfortable to read or watch tv. The foundation is large and heavy. It is awkward to get into position. It is definitely not a one person job. But once set up, it is the worth the effort. It moves smoothly and is not to noisy. there is a hum but not something. I liked that you can pair it for a split king. an excellent investment in comfort.
