Mini Pie & Quiche Maker, Electric Baker Cooks 6 Small Quiches or Pies

When they say mini they mean it. It’s a one bite chicken pot pie. SO not worth the trouble. However—-I have parrots who need nutrition that’s better than seeds and who hate plain pellets, so I make bird muffins in this machine & freeze them, and it’s the perfect size! Cottage cheese, yogurt, a little bisquick or tbs of flour, nuts, seeds, and pellets inside, along with nutritional yeast , bird vitamins and broccoli etc makes perfect muffins for my birds!

My first attempt actually was ok making chicken pot pies. I did decide not to pre-heat the pie maker which made the whole process so much easier. I used my own buttery pie dough again for the bottom & Philo dough on top for my 2nd attempt. I used my 1/8 stainless measuring cup to push the dough into the bottom mold. I smashed down the filling so the pieces were smaller & used a 2-Tbsp scoop to fill each one. Once complete I closed & locked the lid, plugged the unit in & began the time. 15 minutes was still a tad too long for me so I'll reduce the time. Clean up is as advertised. Yes, this maker makes small pies, that's the beauty of it. This is a fun machine & kept my kitchen cool while letting me enjoy baking. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy a new toy :)

This is actually a nice little pie maker - savory or sweet - time saver to not have to use oven

The Mini Pie & Quiche Maker- Nonstick Baker arrived well-packaged and in tact. The Unit is compact and light weight. It seems to be sturdy. I have only used it once so I cannot comment regarding its durability over Time. I used the Mini Pie & Quiche Maker- Nonstick Baker to create some Gluten-Free Cherry Pies. Normally, Gluten-Free Dough is not as malleable as that made with regular Flour, so preparing small Pies can be challenging. However, the Unit did a nice job in shaping the Dough into little Pies. Cleaning the Unit was relatively easy. For me, the only negatives to this Unit are that the Power Cord is very short, and the Unit does not have On-Off or Heat Control Switches. One further Note: it was very helpful to read the other reviews and watch the Videos before I began using this Unit.

I use this instead of baking a whole cake, or brownies. The light, it's hard to tell when it is ready, but you can time it.

I love the concept of this product. However, the machine does not come with any kind of temperature control or even an on/off switch. Plug it in and it is on. Not exactly safe, as there is no way to turn it off except for unplugging it. "Mini" pie maker is misleading. To me, a mini pie is about 4 inches. These are about 2, making them bite size. Not only was the enclosed manual mangled, it was for a Corn Dog maker. When contacted, the manufacturer responded in a timely fashion with a link to a PDF file. This means I now have to use my own ink and paper to print out the manual. I made Bavarian Cream pies for my husband. He and the cat love them, so the product DOES do what it claims. However, no timer, no on/off switch, no temperature control leaves a LOT to be desired.

This is great...makes nice little portioned snacks. Only issue is keeping it clean as there are alot of crevices food gets into

Something seems wrong with the heating element. The right side browned nicely but the left side would not brown. I had to remove them to the right side to cook the tops. I tried everything.

Apart from it being broken and the wrong voltage, the pie slots look quite small

Het apparaat heeft een usa stekker en is 1000 watt dus een omvormer hiervoor is duurder dan de pie maker. Het kwam ook nog eens kapot aan omdat het alleen in een zak verstuurd was waarschijnlijk. Er zat een gat in! Ik heb wel netjes en snel mijn geld terug gekregen dus goed geregeld maar helaas heb ik nu nog geen mini pie maker.

Er zit geen Europese stekker aan het apparaat. Niet handig om dit niet te vermelden, nu moet ik apart een adapter kopen
