If you buy a cheap card reader it’ll do the job just as good as this one. But eventually it will break and you’ll have to buy a new one unless you’re very gentle with it. Most card readers are cheap pieces of future trash. This is the premium option so you can skip that problem. I don’t think it should cost as much as it does. 60$ max and 50$ would be the sweet spot. That being said, as far as I’ve seen this product has no competition. I thought it would be bigger. The photos I’ve seen make it look massive, which to some degree made the price seem justifiable. It’s not big. My phone is bigger. It doesn’t take up much space at all. But it’s got a little weight on it, and a small light when it’s in use. It was worth the money. it comes with type C to type C, I bought a longer type c to type A and it works fine. If you’re spending money on your camera and buying good Lenses, upgrade your card readers too.

This is a great product that works very well and holds up to use while in my travels as a wildlife photographer. Glad I got it , even though the price is high.

If you are a videographer or a photographer this is a must have device to keep in your camera bag this card reader is really fast at reading SD card and writing to SD card I have tried all different brands of card readers they get ridiculously hot and overheat and stop working and no longer read SD card’s. This card reader stays nice and cool no overheating issues and I only use SanDisk brand SD Cards nothing else. The only thing I wish it came with is a USB-C to USB-A cable that is 3 feet long. I end up having to order a 3 foot long USB-C to USB-A cable. The cable that is included USB-C to USB-c is way too short for desktop use.

I got tired of using old, cheap adapters for transferring data onto SDs and micro-SDs. My research led me to the Sandisk reader as one of the fastest models out there. Very easy to use, can use SD and micro-SD simultaneously (I don't use CF, sorry). Works really well with the high-end Sandisk Extreme or similar cards and gets you true 95MB/s + transfer rates. Don't waste your time or money with cheap knockoffs.

Have tried several card readers, but this is by far the fastest I have tried and by a pretty large margin. More than twice as fast as some other readers - there are in depth reviews available online if a person wants all the numbers. Very well built, high quality materials and it feels that way as well - it's overkill for a card reader, really - but that's not a bad thing, right?

I was skeptical at first but I am really seeing 240 Mb/s copying images from an SD II card... now I am a believer. 3X my previous speeds! NOTE: It was a lot slower at first until I connected it on an actual USB-C capable port. Love it! Worth the premium price for the time it's going to save importing my video and images.

This is a very nicely built and solid memory card reader. It might be a little on the pricy end, but the quality is there and I like that it's stackable with the other Sandisk card readers. I'm happy to be getting pretty much the maximum throughput from the SD and CF cards I use it for.

I can finally get the speeds from SD Cards the manufacturers have been advertising. This means that I can compare card speeds and detect a dud card.
