Osprey Quality
I was a little worried when Osprey was bought out by a publicly traded company in 2021, but it looks like they've maintained a high level of quality.I also own the 2010 version of this pack and decided to buy this one when I had a chance to use a friend's and noticed how many things have been improved. This pack fits like a glove and I can wear it on multi day hikes without any discomfort. It's much lighter than my older one and still holds the same amount of stuff. Also, it just barely fits in most overhead bins on airplanes.I purchased this on sale for $250 from Amazon.

Expensive but best option
This is a great bag. Super comfy, packs a ton and is comfortable. the placement of the water has kept me cool on warm day hikes.Tried out 5-6 different bags. This one was the most comfortable.

comfort , Fitz very well, Unbelievable
The media could not be loaded. this backpack really, definitely value for money, it's very expensive but it value for money. oh my god, it's very comfortable, , fits very well, like your back was measured by factory. it's 50 L , but from inside its enormous, very large, for two or three days it's great,. the backpack isn't so heavy by itself, . pay attention to the size, it's very important, you have to buy your waist size correctly, because the weight is holding by waist belt. i am experienced hiker, trust me, i know what i am saying

A+ for a week out in the wild!
With the new features that Osprey brought out in 2022, that just makes this backpack much more enjoyable. The rain fly is always a nice touch and the fact that it’s attached and doesn’t get blown away makes it even better! The added side zippers to access the main area of the bag makes it a lot easier to get items throughout the whole bag. A+ Osprey!

One of the Best
This is one of the most critical pieces of gear from my 2023 Appalachian Trail thru-hike. Before I had picked any of my other gear, I knew my pack would be an Osprey. It didn't take much research to settle on the Atmos 50. This thing is a beast and could handle anything I threw at it or in it during my hike. The best feature is the one everybody already knows well: the airspace and ergonomic curvature that perfectly forms to your back. Furthermore, this distributes weight very efficiently, allowing your hips to bear more of the burden and relieve your shoulders. Other features I love include the waist pouches where I stored quick access items like my multi-tool and hand sanitizer, the included rain fly for quick rain protection, and the angular water bottle holders on each side where I had quick and convenient access to my one liter Smartwater bottles. I even made regular use of the two pockets in the brain portion. The interior dimensions are sufficient to fit a bear vault of the largest size turned sideways. There are straps on the bottom end of the pack that frequently held my tent, though you could also extend the top straps for the brain and store your tent under there too. The shoulder straps are thick and comfortable. I was able to attach a phone pouch on one and regularly attached my umbrella to the other. The materials are rugged. Despite all the use and abuse, scraping on trees and rocks, repetitive motion abrasion, weather exposure, and slinging around, the pack held up well without failure for 2,000 miles. There are probably adjustments I could have made to reduce weight, as this comes in at 4.2 lb. This while most thru-hiking packs in the ultralight category are less than half of that. With Osprey you're getting two extra pounds of comfort, in a sense. Alternatively, they do have the Exos 58 that weighs less. Also, regarding sizing, I think osprey could improve by separating them out into four: S, M, L, and XL. Other lesser known UL brands do this, so I would think osprey could handle it. This is my only real "complaint". All around, Osprey is, in my book, the best backpack maker in existence.

Do not buy from this seller, defective and used product
The media could not be loaded. So I received the backpack with great expectation only to find out that It was defective, used and damaged. The lid's fabric was torn and so was the buckle that holds the adjustable suspension system, hence I can't keep my back adjustment in place, it keeps sliding down from one side. Also, the bag arrived dirty, as if it had already been used and returned. I am extremely disappointed, specially because I got the product from the US and I live in Argentina, and since it took a while to get here, I am now not able to return it and get my money back (not only the price of the item but also had to pay for import fees). It feels like a complete scam, I will never buy from this seller again and neither should you if you don't want to lose your money.
