Tedious but worth it
There is a thin film on both sides of the badges to make them rewriteable/reusable. If you need that feature, it's helpful. If you are engraving or applying cut vinyl lettering, the film can be peeled off. The process is tedious but worth it to reveal a gorgeous and bright white plastic that is free of scuffs and scratches. This size is perfect for legible event name badges that won't dimple or damage fabrics. The bright white contrast also makes quick work of photography Lightroom name badge removal.

Perfect!
The media could not be loaded. Works just as needed. Contrary to the review with the video, it DOES wipe off—see my video. There’s one review that mentions a very hard to see film on both sides. Not removing this is likely is what prevented reuse for others. Pick it off! Takes some time but is worth it. You’ll know there’s a film because the name tags are matte. Once you remove it the name tags are shiny.

Overall Pleased
I made two orders a month or so apart for these name badges. The first order was great. The second order arrived today and there were some quality control issues. Some of the badges, on only one of the sides, had some discoloration marks that were not removable. A couple of badges had some sticky glue-like substance which I did remove. The discoloration marks were not a big deal as I attached the magnets on the discolored sides so it was not visible. I don't know why the two batches were different but I thought it was worth giving the company some constructive feedback.

Just what I needed!
Best name tags ever!! I purchased water proof labels and the name tags look so professional. So easy to wear and they don’t I just our clothing. The magnets are strong so the name tags stay put.

Great for DIY name tags that look professional
I ordered these name tags to create custom name tags for a work event but did not want to spend a ton on them. I purchased clear mailing label and they fit perfectly on these name tags.

These can be sublimated
Although they are not made for it, these can be sublimated on. I used some and subbed on them for a bank. I subbed at 356 degrees for 45 seconds. Again they were not made for it so they do stick to the paper after but if you apply some rubbing alcohol to you finger you can rub the paper off and then wipe them clean with a cloth and more alcohol. They actually sub quite nicely.

Nice for one-time use. But dry erase and chalk marker will not come off entirely.
The media could not be loaded. These are not reusable as advertised. Dry erase and chalk marker WILL NOT COME OFF. I tried everything to clean them:- Dry erase eraser- Dry erase board cleaner- Windex- water- water with dish soap- water with vinegarNothing will get them clean. They are one and done if you use a dry erase marker or chalk marker.Oh well.
