CamelBak Eddy Accessory Bite Valve Multi-Pack

These Bite Valves fit all the newer style Eddy Bottles. The benefit here with these valves, is that Eddys come with clear valves. For better or worse, our mouths are dirty. The clear valves take on that schmutz both externally and internally. How do you hand your Eddy bottle to someone for a cool sip of water when your clear bite valve looks TAN? Yuck. These bite valves eliminate that. Also, Eddy Bite Valves have a shorter life than the rest of the bottle components. If you are a firm biter, over time they can start to split along the edges of the opening. That breaks the "seal" and allows cold water in a bottle in a hot place to expand as ot warms, and it finds it's escape through a leaky bite valve. Dripping all over yourself can be fun in the desert or the jungle - not so fun in good clothes or working around electronics. So it is handy to have this replacement pack of valves that literally just snap on and go. Also, if you are a water bottle nut, you've probably ordered more than one Eddy, sometimes the same color. How do you tell the difference between your bottle and someone elses bottle in the same house or gear bag? Simple. Put a different color valve on one or the other, and voila! This is a great accessory at a great price. Worth twice the price. Buy it.

I needed to replace the bite-valves on 2 of the Camelbak's I owned due to mold growth. This 4 pack did the trick while giving me a few extra. They are a bit pricey for a simple piece of plastic and the texture of the bite valve is not the same as the originals that came with my Eddy bottles. The original valves were smoother and theses have a slightly bumpy texture which took some getting used too.They fit both my 500mL and 750mL Eddy bottles.Some the slits were already open some were not, but a few bites did the trick.They easily slid onto the straw attachment and fit snugly even after going through the dishwasher.

This assortment of colored bite valves allows you to customize your Camelbak bottles, and it helps add value to an already great product. I use my bottle every day at work, and so it was only a few months before my bite valve started showing some pretty significant wear. I love that I was able to keep the bottle as a whole (which is still in amazing shape - hardly any marks or wear) and just replace the bite valve and get right back to using it. I've had this bottle for approximately 1.5 years, and I am still on my first replacement valve (with fairly heavy use 4 days per week) so the value for this bottle is definitely worth the investment. Plus, if you have multiple bottles or want to split the valves with friends who all have different colors, you can spread the cost out even more. Although having said that, the cost is pretty minimal: I got this replacement pack for $10, which is only $2.50 per valve; a small price for something that helps extend the life of your bottle by many years!

I am so grateful I bought these to replace my old bit valve. I won't lie, but I am terrible at taking off my bite valves and cleaning them regularly. Now that I have a dishwasher, I might actually do this more often. I hate how the black bacteria starts growing on the inside of the valve. I immediately clean it with peroxide or rubbing alcohol. However, the black never fully disappears. Which makes my valve look disgusting. So I bought these so I can just change them every so often. All the colors look as pictured. However, the grey is not transparent as the photo suggests. It is solid grey, like the color of the lid of the bottle. It actually matches the grey perfectly, and looks like I bought it that way. The Valves fit on perfectly, and are not loose or anything. I feel these are exactly the same as the Valve that is purchased with the Camelback Eddy bottle. It is nice to be able to change the color based on your mood.

These mouth pieces do not fit the eddy bottle. I have been trying now to get them on my mouth piece for the last 30 minutes and they do NOT FIT! The rubber is too tight to fit on the clamp completely and you can't get any suction, there is no seal at all. Not worth the 10 day wait it took for them to get here. Waste of time, waste of money and I actually broke my mouth piece trying to force the rubber on there. Great, now I have to spend more money to replace more parts. Very disappointed. Maybe they fit some other Camelpak models but certainly not this one.

Ah, I had a GREAT idea.... let me cut a hole in the end to make it easier to drink. That GREAT idea turned out to be a TERRIBLE idea! The first time I grabbed the container and opened it up while on the elliptical machine.... I ended up wearing a couple ounces of my water. Then I did it again. So, note to self--- this bottle setup cannot have an open hole at the bite valve.So I ordered this four pack and it fit just as the original except that I did have to use a knife and cut the slit as others have mentioned. I had used a utility knife and it took all of 5-seconds to do. I did adjust the slit length to my liking.

They're most definitely a strange color, which is probably due to the rubber they're made out of. But, the first one has done the job for my Camelbak water bottle. Although I have only taken out the pink one so far, my only objection is, the top slit wasn't slit all the way. It may be the same on all of them, but I won't know until I have to replace this one. Unfortunately, you'll have to do some maneuvering in order to get any water out of them. Overall, I (think) it was a good deal for the money.

I use 6 of these water bottles daily to keep my family hydrated. We color code the bottles so everyone can keep theirs straight. These valves replace those on the bite valve caps - we have Better Bottles in 750 ml.The colors match the water bottles of the same colors, and my kids think it's really cool to have a matching valve. But you could also mix them up for a little fun.The valves are dishwasher safe, and even with my 1-8 year old kids, hold up for 4-6 months. I have several clear on hand as well, and just replace them as they start to gap. It's to be expected with all the biting these things put up with!

Fits perfectly on Camelbak bottle. Just pull the old Bite valve and push in the new one.

Habe mir die Ersatzmundstücke gekauft, da es einfach hygienischer ist, das Mundstück nach einer Weile auszutauschen. So kann das eine auch mal in Ruhe austrocknen oder in die Spülmaschine.Sie passen perfekt für die "Eddy und die Groove (habe beide)", ich kann mir nicht erklären, warum es beim Einklappen Probleme geben soll? Falsch herum draufgesteckt?Ein bißchen schade finde ich die bunten Farben, zu meiner Flasche passt das grüne gar nicht ;), aber gut...Kritik auf hohem Niveau.

Qué decir de los productos Camelbak? Pues nada, que hagan lo que hagan, serán los mejores de su categoría y los que más van a durar.
