Future Call Phone
Best phone I have found for my hard of hearing, technology challenged father. Speakerphone is very loud, handset volume is loud but sound is a little muffled on high volume setting, ringer is ok but could be louder. No extra buttons for my father to press and screw it up, very simple to use.

Speaker volume
The phone is good, except when press the Speaker button, the dial tone is very loud. It has a volume control slider but doesn't seem to work. Additionally, the 10 spaces, where you write the names of the people in the memory, is too small. On a separate piece of paper, I had to print out the list of names and what number to press.

Worked very well for intended use.
My husband had Alzheimer's and sometimes found the simplest chores difficult with the progression of the disease. Being able to have him press a button (bright green) to answer the phone made it easier for him to cope.

Speaker gave out
Update: We have had this phone for about 2 years. My senior mom uses it for its speaker function. She can't see well. It worked great for 2 years, and then suddenly now there is terrible noise when we call her. She can't hear it, but no matter who calls (cell or landlines) it has a terrible noise. So frustrating. It never gets moved or handled, so don't know why it quit. Disappointed after 2 years.Original Review: This is a quality phone, and solved all my mom's problems. She cannot see very well, and her hearing aids made phone conversations impossible with her old phone. This phone has an easy to see speaker phone button and very large and clear numbers. She can hear people and they can hear her easily when she talks at regular conversational tone sitting near it. Perfect for older folks with sight and hearing limitations. The price was great for the high quality. Very pleased.

Good phone for the visually impaired
I bought this phone for my 100+-year-old mother who suffers from macular degeneration, arthritis and hearing loss. She is able enough to see the large numbers and able to press the large buttons with her arthritic fingers. Without this phone she would not be able to call people. The speaker is loud enough and clear enough for her to hear as she is also hard of hearing. We liked it so much we bought a second one for her bedroom. So far we have had no problems with them. Highly recommend.

Simple to use and large buttons
This is a throwback to simpler times and works well for my 91 year old father. He can answer the phone by simply picking up the handset. With his macular degeneration and dexterity issues, this is so much less stressful for him. He can actually see the numbers but I do wish the Memory button was larger. It is a plastic feeling phone so don't expect the quality of the 60's ATT and Bell phones, but for the money it has some amazing features for our compromised loved ones. Fyi, we use a VOIP system (Ooma) and I did need to put an inexpensive DSL filter on the phone line to prevent feedback and squealing noises.

Ringer Volume is NOT LOUD. Flashing light will NOT get your ATTENTION.
Was hoping this phone would be the answer to prayers for hard of hearing Senior at a nursing home. The HI ringer volume for us normal hearing people was a gentle electronic ring! I thought maybe the ringer was labeled in reverse and tried the LOW setting. No, LOW ringer was lower. Must return phone, as my friend's Mom could not hear it ring next to her bed. She does use a sound ampliphier to hear normally, and it could not even pick up ring. You must press Memory button before pressing the button you stored on auto dial. This could be confusing for some seniors. The "flashing light ringer" display is a delicate red quick pulsing light that if you are not staring at the phone when it rings, it would not get your attention. There is no brightness strength to it, not meant to catch your attention, but more just to let you know the phone is ringing if you are looking at the phone. The large numbers worked out fine. There is a lip that catches the phone receiver and holds it in place. You must put a little energy into the lift, (like the pull of a very strong magnetic) in order to remove receiver from base on desk, or on bed position. Then making sure when returning receiver to hand up, that you put it down with precision onto its base.

Works well and the buttons are a good size.
I purchased for my mother because she could not se the keys on the regular phone to dial. Now she can dial anyone she wants. She is happy.
