Perfect for a craft/sewing table. Love the fact that it has the pullout storage on the right side so that, along with the drawers, affords plenty of storage. Took me 4+ hours to assemble, but it had decent direction. I’ve had it for a couple of months and it seems to be very sturdy.

I love the bobbin drawer and the drawer for my sewing machine. I also like the size of the top, it's deep, and the whole desk is sturdy overall. I set it up in the spare bedroom and it matches the dresser I already had in there which also has black handles. It looks like it belongs there. I love this desk and could highly recommend it. Great storage for all my sewing needs. It's a good size to work on projects.

Perfect! Just what we needed as a computer desk and a sewing table/cabinet. Holds the sewing machine and its accessories very well and it is very easy to take out the machine for sewing and stow away when not. The installation was fine for one person if you are willing to do it, as I did, but having a second person as recommended is ideal if you are not handy or strong. This desk is VERY heavy, I know the delivery guys hates us.Had an issue with one of the drawers however, hence the 4 stars. The holes were not lined up properly and when put together "as is", it would not line up on the track nor fit in place inside the cabinet. The drawers are the last items you place inside this piece so you wouldn't know ahead of time if there was an issue until you try and put it on its track. Luckily for me I have a handy neighbor who fixed it with a screw and some wood glue. The drawer is most likely more sturdy now because of this alteration, even though this desk is incredibly solid. I have faith that the manufacture would have resolved the issue had we not been able to make the correction ourselves. It was not as if you could send the desk back at this point.With that being said, I hope it was just a fluke on this one piece, but I assure you, we are incredibly pleased with this desk/sewing cabinet.

Plan to spend several hours assembling. It isn’t necessarily hard but there are a lot of parts. I was missing a few screws but I called them and they sent them right away. It is very sturdy and solid. It is perfectly designed to hold my sewing supplies!

It was not easy to put together at all and the directions weren’t clear which way the boards needed to face. It is made out of really weak particle board. My 13 year old daughter was so excited for it and I thought it would be sturdier for the price. We will be lucky if it lasts a year.

It is heavy and sturdy. However, my sewing area has this table sitting away from a wall and back is not finished. Not a game changer just will have to add some type of finish. The design allows for good function. Putting it together required some time. The sad part is the top has pressure indents. It isn't real wood it's particle which I feel the price should be lower. I haven't started to use it yet but I can't wait to begin sewing.

I've made 1814-era women's dresses for an Honors class I teach, for some years. I had the use of a room in my department, but had to vacate it last spring. Where to put all the thread, bobbins, buttons, two sewing machines, and accessories, lace, scissors, pins, you name it! After an extensive search, this unit seemed to be what I needed, in my home, for sewing and for safe storage, as I needed enclosed drawers and shelves because of cats! The shipped box, all materials in one box, was a pain--weighed possibly 200 lbs.--we had to open and unpack it outside and bring in the pieces. But my spouse is very good at putting together Ikea and other such items, so it was not difficult to put together--just took some time and care. I really LOVE it--top left drawer has spindles for thread, bobbins, just where I want them; really good sliding drawers on left side, for smaller items, and really BIG right-side drawer that opens into versatile shelves. Just what I needed for my mostly-sewing, and some crafts, station. Love the large top surface!

This is an awesome and very well made product. I will admit, I was initially intimidated by the fairly extensive assembly process, but the directions were very clear. I took my time and assembled the sewing desk without difficulty - though it did take a solid hour. The fit of all the pieces is very good, the table is rock solid, no wobbling or anything. The wife absolutely loves it so you know I consider this a good investment!
