Spigen NeoFlex Screen Protector for Galaxy S22 Ultra

From the time I ripped off the top of the Amazon package, to the time I was done, maybe 20 minutes passed? The trickiest part was navigating the Spigen install web site, which is absolutely part of the specific features of the product and user experience as it is referred to in the product literature despite being completely broken and unusable. However, if you use URLs external to Amazon to search, you'll find better instructions on the popular "tube" site. Following the instructions from the aforementioned, external to Amazon site, I was a little reluctant to perform the install while the phone was still in the case, but the S22 is water resistant. While other owners complained of it curling up on the edges, I have not had that experience. I have a perfect fit, with the tiniest of bubbles near the camera. Yes, the squeegee is a cardboard disappointment. I used a credit card.

Tempered glass protectors are just too PITA to install and still can crack from impact damage, I hated how my whitestone worked on my Note 8, so I didn't bother with my new S22 Ultra either Spigens soft film is easy enough to install IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS!! Be sure to get a clean, flat and dustless table as possible to make putting on the film much easier and avoid "dirt bubbles" The film reduces glare nicely but still allows the screen to be very clear and sharp. I've had no issues with my sonic finger reader after apply film, didn't need to redo finger scanning at all. The film will old "dents" or hard hits or even S-pen traces if you push hard, so if that bothers you, look elswhere

I will start of by saying that this screen protector is good. The wet installation is much different than all of the other hard protectors that I've used in the past, despite the extra steps it is the easiest and most satisfying way to apply a protector. There are no issues with touch sensitivity nor with the fingerprint reader. It is on very securely. Now, for the things that I do not like. I'm not sure if it's just me as I did not spend much time with my S22 Ultra before applying the screen protector but it seems as though the protector seems to carry a subtle blue tint which I at first found uncomfortable. Luckily you can go into display settings and change the screens color profile to combat this effect. Next we have to talk about marks left on the screen. These can be caused in events that would have left a scratch on the bare screen or, and unfortunately, with the use of the S Pen in cases where you apply pressure to the screen. This would usually be normal but this cover really teaches you to be light and gently. Overall, while I'm not upset about this purchase and wouldn't complain if I had to use it again, I would most likely opt for the use of the normal tempered glass protectors if I were to have to purchase another one.

I've never been a fan of soft screen protectors, but had seen online that (in the past) Spigen had made really good, easy to apply ones. The wet apply application seemed like a good idea too as I've applied vinyl decals to things the same way. The first screen protector immediately got a wrinkle that I could not get out. The second one, no matter what I did I could not remove the air bubbles or get the edges to stick. The squeegee card that was supplied was worthless and disintegrated from soaking up the solution as I tried to smooth out the protector. I ended up throwing both protectors away. I want to note that this review is for this specific screen protector and not for Spigen products or company as a whole. They make fantastic cases and am using one on my brand new S22 Ultra. I just do not recommend this screen protector at all

This screen protector was easy to apply with following the directions and did not interfere with the fingerprint sensor. When you first apply the screen protector you can see a haze. Once dry it fades away. I left the case on since during the initial insal because it is easier to line up. With past experiences with this type of screen protector the cases pushes on the corners. You then get lifting and bubbles on the side. I like that there is a spare so I can replace this in the future.

Usually the first purchase I make for a new phone is a case and screen protector. With many of my items, I try to get something that I feel is a good value for the use. This was far cheaper than some of the ones you find in retail stores, which is a huge plus for me. I've also tried the glass version of screen protectors and had issues with the finger print reader. This one seemed to work pretty good. But there are some flaws with this as well. Here are my pros/cons of this protector: Pros: - Price: This is a decent price to protect your screen. I picked mine up for around $12, not the $25-$40 ones that are usually sold at the phone stores. - Protection: This will protect against scratches from normal use. My old phone does not have a screen protector on it, and you can see where I slide my finger the most. This one should protect my new phone from this. - Fingerprint scanner still works, unlike the glass ones that I've used in the past with other phones. Cons: - Adhesion: I have issues with the corners wanting to fold up with my case on the phone. I've pressed them down, folded them under the case, and even tried removing my case for a while to allow the corners to stick, and they just refuse. - Protection: Unlike the glass type protectors, this one will not protect against screen cracking if you drop something on the screen or end up dropping your phone on its screen. - Installation: I found this one to be a little harder to install than the glass protectors. Since this is like any soft product, you have to be sure to hold the sides while trying to get it on straight and get the bubbles out. - Does not cover the sides Overall, i am satisfied with this protector, but a little disappointed that the corners keep folding up. This would be a 4 star product if that was fixed. The other issues are minor, but the fact that it keeps folding up is annoying and leads to dust and other things getting under the corners.

TL:dr – it’s easy to install, case friendly and protects as far as it is possible to do so. You are reading this because you liked the price-point, right? Let’s address the elephant in the room, that generally speaking people are idiots and some of them shouldn’t be using a product let alone writing reviews. You might want to count me among them after reading this review, but here we are. I have a Galaxy S22 Ultra which has a curved screen. This screen has it’s “protector” built into it and basic physics and, or playing with glass will tell you that it’s incredibly difficult to accurately curve glass at an affordable price for something the size of a cellphone screen. Therefore we have a flexible screen protector that isn’t going to sacrifice itself in the way that a glass one would. Don’t blame the manufacturer, it’s a fad for curved screens that caused this problem. Application: Firstly RTFM – Read The Fu.. Famous Instructions. Clean the screen, wet your hand, wet the phone screen (wetness provided in a squirty bottle in the kit) and wet the screen film. Apply the screen film to the phone screen, slide into position and remove the air bubbles with the provided applicator. That’s it. It’s that simple. Will there be “things” under the film? Sure, if you let them get there :-D :-P Does it protect? Yes, from minor scuffs and scratches and dings. Will it last long? Who knows? Who cares! Seriously, look at the price you paid. Buy another in 6 months and be done with it. If you can afford an S22+ Ultra, you can afford to do that. I COSTS $6 per film. You waste more than that every week on coffee Bottom line, buy it, use it and love it. And if you don’t like it, it’s only $6 per film (less than that gourmet frozen coffee drink or a fatty burger)

Habe die Schutzfolie für das Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra gekauft. Ich fand die Installation einfach, und nach 12 Stunden ist die Folie so gut wie nicht mehr sichtbar. Sie ist Blasen und Hubbelfrei. Der Fingerabdrucksensor funktioniert 1A. Fingerabdrücke bilden sich nach einiger Zeit (Und das ist kaum vermeidbar), gefühlt dauert es aber um vieles länger als wie z.B auf Panzerglas. S-Pen Abdrücke gehen nach einiger Zeit wieder weg, wenn man nicht zu stark drückt. Nun zur Installation der Folie, so wie ich es mit TPU immer mache : Nach dem Auspacken habe ich das Gerät so gut wie möglich gereinigt mit Microfaser und Alkohol. Ich fand die Installation alles im allen sehr einfach und durch die Flüssigkeit die man auf das Display + Hände sprüht auch sehr flexibel. Die von einigen hier kritisierten Blasen oder das die Folie abgeht, sind in meinen Augen reine Anwenderfehler. Mann muss : 1. Das Display 200% Staub- und Fettfrei haben, also sollte man das nicht unbedingt im Wohnzimmer machen. Hände sollten vorher gewaschen und damit trocken und möglichst Fettfrei sein. 2. Flüssigkeit großzügig auf die Hände und Display aufbringen. Lieber bisschen mehr als zu wenig. 3. Folie vorsichtig und möglichst grade aufbringen, und minimal verschieben und glattziehen wenn es nicht direkt 100% passt. 4. Danach das Wasser und Blasen rausrakeln, das ganze vorsichtig von der Mitte zu beiden Aussenkanten drücken. 5. Wenn das sauber gemacht worden ist, sollten schon sehr wenige Restblasen und Hubbels sichtbar sein. Jetzt kommt wie auch schon andere sagen das wichtigste : Kanten nachziehen, aber von Display zu den Seiten leicht schräg. Viele (Selbst erlebt) machen das Schlicht falsch und rakeln am Rand vorbei von oben nach unten. Damit verzieht man die Folie, und sie wird sich lösen. 6. 6-8 Stunden ruhen lassen, damit die Restflüssigkeit trocknen kann. Nach 12 Stunden liegt die Folie absolut glatt auf. Alles im allen Spigen ! Top !

Easy to install and comes with everything you need to I stall is bubblefree

I recently had an expensive glass screen protector fitted at a kiosk. It looked great, but lasted about a week before cracking. I had this as a backup in the drawer, but I'd been avoiding using it because I thought it the process would be epic. After watching a quick application video (worth watching before you start), I installed the guard in about 20 seconds! It was so easy. Next challenge: Wear and tear - I had read the guards get micro-scratches but it has been a month and the guard still looks pretty good, I think you would have to be storing your phone against keys (or similar) to really scratch it up. And the best part is that it comes with a spare, so when this one gets really scuffed up, I can just easily replace it! Great guard!!!

I tried GlassDome previously, although it saved my screen, the protection layer got destroyed and had to be replaced. Having that said, finger print didn't work properly, trying to record on WhatsApp was not working properly (given the location on the extreme side). With this I can use my phone as if I don't have a protection screen on. Only test remaining which I hope I don't have to again, is a drop test :). It was pretty easy to install as well.

This Spigen product is the worst one that I have ever bought, it is a terrible product, I watched the video and that looked pretty simple, but it started already bad when I was trying to get the backing off, then the product is so flimsy that it is hard to get onto the screen straight, the because the s22 phone has a rounded edge I could not get the product to stick properly, I will not recommend this product.
