Wiha Pliers is great quality and useful

Kit perfeito, para cortar qualquer coisa que o eletricista queira. Só ficaria cauteloso ao usar o de corte para cortar o cabo de aço grosso do lacre no quadro padrão, embora me pareça que ele aguenta bem o serviço.

I really don't need the insulation, but may come in handing with a basement renovation. For the added cost of going with knipex I would say the Wiha's are a great solution. Break-in on the needle nose and side cutters was the whole of maybe 10 mins. The linesmen were about 30 mins. And stick only at its widest. Any other position and they freely drop open. These are very hefty linesmen and go through electrical wiring as if it's not there, twisting and gripping are very very impressive. The Side cutters are even better, household electrical cable is a breeze and could do it all day long without tiring. The needle nose are a bit smaller than the side cutters but fit perfect in my hand. The 1000v rated insolated handles are comfortable and safe. If you are sitting on the fence, don't just buy the Wihas. Made in Vietnam but the quality is excellent. Wiha has QC will in hand.

The lineman pliers we're excellent and extremely sharp, you don't need much force to twist very large wire's together or twist connectors to full tightness and surprisingly the perfect amount of tension to open and close the new tool,which is usually exactly the opposite with any new pliers and especially linemans! I stripped number #8 awg and #10 awg working on some industrial hangar door's with ease, these thing's are very sharp don't use very much force or you'll easily start cutting the copper strand's! Cutting the #10 was easy and could be done in one motion the larger #8 had to be worked at but it could do it in two steps so don't be timid about what this tool is capable of! And twisting new extra large party hat's with multiple wires in it isn't hard with the grip these lineman's have, if you're not careful one of the wire's will come through the back of the connector, that's how good of grip these get! I couldn't be happier with how easy it makes getting ahold of big wire's and cutting and stripping and bending them to fit into a junction box exactly the way you want them! The next is the needle nose pliers and the extra narrow design let's you get to the back of the panel and remove super tight spades and piggy back's without damaging everything around those connections! Doing contactor component change out's just got alot easier with the reach and precise power of these 1000V protected pliers and if you need to cut or trim off some corrosion at the end of the wire going into a contactor you don't have to dig in your bag for a second tool as these pliers are extremely sharp! Don't think you'll use these to crush a butt connector because you'll accidentally cut it in half if your not careful. And now for the Side Cutter's/Dikes those are no different in capability, easy to open way up and cut the biggest wires in one two cuts or quickly snip most any wire's you'll come in contact with in one quick snip. Partly because their really sharp and I believe they have extra wide jaws compared to other brands I've used. The whole entire set is a home run in my field of industrial maintenance! Tested to over 10K volts before failure and guaranteed to 1000V protection in the case of you accidentally get into a wire by mistake. These are shooting well past their price point with handles that go through a special process to make sure the handles never come off and I feel like they'll always be comfortable for everyone, as I have small hands and could easily manipulate the tool in every situation due to a good design, these will likely last a lifetime because of the high end metal they use and being German made, I wouldn't be surprised if could hand them down to future generations. Best 80 bucks I've spent in a long time!
