Q: Do these biodegradable potty liners include an absorbable pad? I see this feature in other brands but didn't see it here.

We do not have an absorbent pad in the liners as of now because the materials used are just not tested enough to ensure the level of eco consciousness that we aim for. Most absorbent pads in potty liners and diapers are filled with what is called a Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP). SAP is a plastic and to our knowledge, all of the SAP in potty liners and diapers today is derived from petroleum, therefore, may contain chemical components of concern. Because it is unclear if sufficient testing has been done to ensure that SAP is non-toxic and safe and plant-based SAP is not currently being used by any diaper manufacturer, that we found, we will not be using it in our products. The rolls are noticeably taller than the munchkin rolls.
