Battery works great on my laptop, especially considering the age of the laptop,

Fit without any problem and has given my old laptop some time on battery. 8/4/23 Battery stopped charging. I have cleaned the contact with electronic contact cleaner on both the computer and battery. I also checked the output from the power supply. The laptop will run with the power supply plugged in but the battery is not charging. I will update this review if that fixes it. I will know before return window closes. 9/9 noticed charger voltage 19.1V . Decided to purchase new charger. Bought 90W instead of 45W. Battery charged right up!!

No issues - old laptop now charging and usable

Found an old laptop in the garage and tried to use it. Needed a battery and I used this brand for another computer which worked good. Being that I'm one for brand loyalty I'll keep using this brand until I have a bad experience. I never had to contact with customer service yet but I do hope they see this Review.

The batteries were the exact fit to my DELL Inspiron 1545 laptops. Took old battery out and compared and snapped in new battery. Had to charge them back up but they are now at 100% charged running Windows 10. Now I can go longer on battery so they don’t have to be plugged in all the time.

I bought this after reading reviews on this battery and others. I know my computer is older but the battery should hold a charge longer than an hour. The battery I replaced would hold a charge for about 30 minutes....so the cost of this battery for an additional 30 minutes is really not worth it. I have another older Dell lap-top with a battery (not sure the type) where the battery holds a charge for at lease 2 hours or more. I think this battery is just not a good choice.

I feel like I wasted money on this battery. After 3 months it stopped holding a charge. Unfortunately, this battery is made in China, but now days it seems like all laptop batteries are made in China. I purchased another laptop battery, but this time on Ebay that was made by another manufacturer and so far, 6 months later, it is still holding a charge. I wish I could find a USA maker of laptop batteries because the replacement battery I purchased is also made in China. I avoid Chinese made products whenever possible. I want to support the USA and not China. If Amazon would stop selling products from China, I would be a happy camper. If I wanted a Chinese product, I would have purchased through Alibaba rather than Amazon.

I recently gave my old optiplex 1525 a new life by loading Debian Linux and Home Assistant home automation software on it. The laptop is old, but more than adequate for running a home assistant server on Linux. I liked the fact that i could use the laptop's battery as a built-in UPS to keep it running during a power outage. Unfortunately, my old battery wasn't up to the task so i needed a replacement. This was a direct replacement that just dropped right in place. I get about 3 1/2 hours battery backup, much better than the half hour my old dying battery provided.
