I was replacing a 20 year-old sump pump with a new one that has a tethered float switch. So the power supply has to connect to two other wires--one to the switch and one to the pump itself. It's a wet location and even though it won't be submerged, a waterproof junction box like this is made to order! Very well made.

Not practical for 10 or 12 gage AWG wires. Components do not provide for a 3 way splice.

Needed a device for a three-way connection of 18 AWG, 3 Conductor, Type SJ, electrical cable. This unit came with three sets of rubber grommets in different diameters enabling me to select the perfect size for my cable diameter, and when tightened with the cap nuts, each cable was firmly gripped to prevent cable pull-out. There was just enough space/volume inside for the wiring connections and the wiring connectors I used.

Used it to build a flow switch circuit for a chemical injection pump. Caps give a strong seal on cable and even the included junction block worked fine with a 16ga extension cord. I had no issue with the amount of interior space. I pretty certain a 14ga cord would work fine also.

I used this on my compact tractor for splitting to 2 led lights. Comes with everything you need to make it water tight.

I thought the terminal block would be set up to connect one incoming wire with two out going wires. It’s set up so you have to run two jumper from the incoming line to power the second outgoing line. Wire nuts work better than the terminal block.

Received exactly as described. The junction box is made of very good quality materials and feels sturdy and well-built. Installation was quick and easy, with everything fitting perfectly. It works exactly as expected and provides a reliable waterproof connection for outdoor electrical wiring. I highly recommend this product!
