where affordability meets quality
COMFEE' 60 cm Visor Cooker Hood SLIF17B-60Purchase price - £40.49Review after 7 months from installationStill going strong, no complains at all. Suction is on point, I also didn't notice any change to how the units sounds when in use.For anyone interested in buying:* Make sure you check your dimensions* Check if you are connecting to power socket or switched fused spur (spur will require custom installation so best to get someone to do it for safety reasons)* Operation - recirculation or ducted (for ducted - outlet cover must be removed before attaching, for recirculation you don't have to do anything just mount it)I seen some comments stating how loud the unit is but to me it's fine, old unit I had was much louder and suctions was really on the poor side.

great value
very pleased with this cooker hood ,it's very quiet and extract a lot better than the old unit it replaced. easy to install and looks good

Not a Rolls Royce more like a Lambretta
The fixing holes in the top are too far forward for the cupboard I have, so I drilled two new holes. No doubt that will have voided the warranty but it is very cheap so it is almost disposal. The unit comes with the internal switch for venting to the outside. Therefore, if it is not vented to the outside, the extraction will be very poor and it will be noisy. The instructions, such as they are don't explain this. I suspect the comments about noise are entirely due to the switch being in the venting outside position. The fan is not particularly strong but generally adequate. Come on, if you pay a Lambretta price you do not get a Rolls Royce. It does look ok and I am happy with it. If I was spending £20k on a new kitchen I would buy something different but to replace a broken unit in an old kitchen, just about perfect.

Not great... but cheap.
Not great.... but about what I should expect for the price. The bracket with the switches was broken.... both sides! So I had to fix that. Then when screwing it to the wall, the metal back plate distorted and twisted before it pulled flush to the wall. So it was hanging forward with no way to tighten it further. I put a metal strip inside and bolted through that which solved the issue. If I was buying again, I would pay a bit more for better quality!Instructions are useless but its pretty easy to install so should cause anyone issues.

Great price and great customer service

Very good value for money
When our old cooker hood gave up the ghost this was a great replacement. It fitted reasonably easy, it works well and the price was excellent
User
Poor quality
The Cooker hood was only fitted a couple of months and the control panel pushed into the unit.Would not recommend this product
User
Good buy.
Very slim, looks brilliant in my new kitchen. Does all it's supposed to do. Good buy.

Doesn’t work
Absolutely awful. Worse than having no fan at all. Unfortunately I have already fitted it and the item came from UK. I’ll attempt to return it. So so disappointing and a waste of money.
