Lucas Oil 12 Oz. Power Steering Leak-Stopper Fluid - 1 Each

I have trusted Lucas Oil products for maybe 25 years or more. I ordered this to help my power steering pump when starts are in cold weather and so it will groan for a bit until warmed up. Pump and rack and everything are new/great otherwise. No leaks, it just helps. (I also run 37" tires, so it is heavy turns when not warmed up.)

Truly works PS hasn't leaked since....

I bought my "almost like new" 2006 Acura MDX in 2017 with 158,000 miles for just $5,800 which was an amazing deal for such a reliable vehicle. The only issue it had was a very slow power steering leak and a strange glitch with the steering where it would sometimes quickly oscillate between very hard and then very easy to turn the wheel. I took my chances and did a full flush of the power steering fluid including 2 bottles of Honda P/S fluid and just one bottle of Lucas Stop Leak power steering fluid. (Even though I bought two bottles, I only needed one.) I did this back in 2018 and the vehicle now has 218,000 miles. It hasn't lost a single drop of power steering fluid since then and the steering seems like new to me. Obviously, I'm very pleased with this purchase and how much money I saved by not having to replace any power steering components.

I only added about 1/4 of the bottle to top off the low reservoir. I seems to have stopped the minor leak with no mechanical issues. Dealer wanted $1500 to replace the steering rack. Update: 9 months now and still not leaking again. Have not had to add any more fluid and steering worked fine through the freezing winter and now hot the summer with no issues. 10 month update: developed a major leak this time. This time it worked to turn it into smaller issue but I need to add some every day. Looks like I have to spend the$1500 now, but this stuff definitely worked for almost a year.

I had a bad leak on my civic i had to fill steering fluid almost every 6 days, took me 2 bottles of lucas to almost stop the leak and now I use just a squirt of third bottle every month or so! Worked pretty well and saved me big $$

It really stops the leak

I’m a believer. My 99 dodge 3500 was leaking power steering fluid like crazy after a winter storm. Then it started leaking all the time. Was about to take it to a mechanic, but decided to take a chance on this product. I figured it wouldn’t work. It worked. It literally fixed my power steering leak. It’s been about a month and when I park the truck each day zero fluid on the ground. Zero! Yay. Saved me a trip to the mechanic and a large bill!!

Ottimo. L'ho inserito nel circuito servosterzo di una honda civic del 1999 che perdeva qualche goccia e per la quale mi avevano detto che era troppo costosa la riparazione. Ho fatto un bel viaggio di 400 km e per adesso, non ha perso piu' niente. Devo dire che ero scettico. Staremo a vedere.

It stoped the leak. Works awesome now

When I used this product my car was leaking about 200 ml hydraulic fluid a month for a drive of about 800-1000 kms/month. The car has not leaked in last 3 months after I have used this product, and has run about 3500 kms in this time which include 2500 kms of high speed highway run. Also checked the hydraulic fluid level last week, it is constant. I am presuming that it will remain this way. It has worked for me, and saved a lot of money.

Sur mon Audi A3 8L j'avais une perte d'huile sur la crémaillère de direction. J'ai ajouté ce produit et depuis ça ne fuit plus. Ce produit est une huile très épaisse, vraiment très épaisse. Pour le moment ça fonctionne mais les températures sont plutôt basses et l'huile de manière générale et moins fluide quand il fait froid, et comme ça doit être un joint un petit peu poreux qui fait fuir ma crémaillère, cela se comprend. J'attends cet été je referai un nouveau commentaire, si ça ne fuit toujours pas c'est que les additifs dans cette huile font leur job
