Extremely slow
Returned the item after lots of tries to get better method to store large data. But it takes ages to finish. I tried to copy same folder to it and to Seagate one touch 2.5, the 2.5 finished in 1 hour when this drive showing 1 day remaining. Copied 150,000 files, 2.5 finished while this drive show 130,000 remaining. Expect to archive 8tb in full week doing nothing but copying each time you need to archive same data or update them. If you insist be careful of damaging the drive from heat.

Gute Platte, passender Preis

PERFECT ADDITION FOR MY CUSTOMER DATABASE
This was truly a "plug and play" for me. Plugged it in, mapped the location, copied files from old backup, and set it for future backups to my backups! Much easier than the last one I tried and never got computer to recognize it! Buy it!
