Does its job
I've used this several times and it works great for taking out that old DVD drive from an otherwise useless notebook and using it for a newer machine. I do wish the USB plug were a little "bigger", it doesn't seem very snug and my machine sometimes looses the drive if I'm moving it around. Since I'm usually just sitting at a desk when I'm using the drive, this isn't a practical problem, but an observation.

Almost unsuable.
Received different product to what is shown. What I received has two USB connectors, presumably to supply enough power but I don't know for sure. No instructions included. It is very finicky and fails if not inserted "just so". I cannot tell if there is a short or break somewhere in the line, or where one of the USB connectors is attached. No matter what it seems like poor design or low build quality, or a combination of the two. Will be returned.

new laptop has no DVD Drive and prep for dealing with Murphy's is a religion
