KitchenAidArtisan Mini Stand Mixer and Pasta Maker Attachment Set

I've had Kitchen aid appliances for many years. Because I'm just cooking for one, I gave away my large Kitchen Aid mixer and bought this smaller one. Before using the attachments I put them in the dishwasher. Imagine my surprise when the whipper stem came out black indicating that it was made of aluminum. I cleaned off the residue but never felt confident that my whipped cream, egg whites or what ever else I put in the bowl wouldn't cause a reaction and put that oxide in my food. I also made a cake and found the motor not up to the quality of speed and power of the old mixer. All in all I'm very disappointed in this product.

This was a gift for our 93 year-old mother to replace a vintage KitchenAid mixer that had come to the end of its life. We needed this smaller size to fit in a cupboard built specifically for the departed mixer, so it could not be over 13" tall, plus it could not be excessively heavy if mom was to lift and move it around. The mini was perfect and the handle on the mixing bowl also helps as we deal with some limitations caused by arthritis.3.5 quarts is perfect for the type of baking she loves doing -- totally sufficient for a large batch of cookies, a normal size cake, plenty of dough for rolls to serve at a family gathering (she's obviously not running a bakery) and there really is nothing mini about the mixer! After using the beaters and dough hook that are standard -- mom is ecstatic! She's back to baking and loves the upgrades that have occurred over the last 40 plus years.

This 3.5 stand mixer is small compared to our KitchenAid Professional 600.When we pulled it out of the box my adult daughter said it looks like an Easy Bake Oven accessory. lolI bought this mixer because the bigger mixer can't make small batch recipes very well. The ingredients sit at the bottom and the attachments mix the top only.This mixer isn't for everyone. It's perfect for anyone that cooks a lot and needs both the big mixer and this smaller mixer.This might be nice for someone that cooks for two.I think that the average cook would want a 4.5 qt KitchenAid.I wouldn't choose this mixer if I wanted to make cookies for a bake sale or holidays.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS.I upgraded from my 80$ mini stand Costway mixer to this.I chose 3.5 qt with handle, empire red because I do not have a lot of counter space.It is very beautiful in person.I make french macarons a lot and this has been amazing.PROS:- does not vibrate when it goes on full speed- whisk is all stainless steel and easier to clean and dries faster- bowl has a handle- very stable- very cute!- PRICE! I got mine during prime day for 219$

I was given a kitchen aid mixer when I was 22- almost 50 years ago. I would still be using it if I hadn't burnt out the motor trying to make too much yeast dough. That was a phenomenal mixer.I wouldn't use this mixer if it were given to me. When you cream butter and sugar, it leaves large chunks of unmixed butter in the batter. The gears to change the speed is difficult to use. To get the bowl in/out is a major hassle. Worst mixer I have ever used.It is clear to me that Cooks Illustrated who recommended this mixer (and ALL of their top recommendations were Kitchen Aid) are on Kitchen Aid's payroll.Kitchen Aid is not what it was. Be forewarned: KITCHEN AID IS TERRIBLE NOW!

I own the 6qt stand mixer, but we travel full time in a Motorhome, where weight and space are always a concern. I love to bake and am always giving something away. I have the KA hand mixer as well and that was my road mixer. My darling husband of 40 years found this KA Mini mixer and bought it for me. I have had it for 5 days and have absolutely fallen in love with it. Same power as the Classic Artisan, but in a smaller body. Flour capacity is 5 cups. My bread recipe is 3 1/2 cups so it works. I’ve used the mixer 3 times and it has performed fantastic. It’s easy to wipe down and keep clean. I also take it off the counter when we travel and it isn’t too heavy to move. Mine came with the scraper paddle which cleans the walls of the bowl very well. Very glad I have it. The fact that it is available and I don’t have to get my hand mixer out, makes me want to bake more!🤗Update: I ended up buying the paddle without the rubber scraper. I found that flour would get on the scrapper and not get mixed. I like the paddle without the rubber scraper better than the paddle with the rubber scraper.

My big thing is making my own pizza dough so the mixer is invaluable. If you get the mini model like this one, just be mindful of the amounts of the ingredients as most dough recipes that are geared for a stand mixer use about twice the ingredients that a mini can handle. Oh, it's powerful enough, there just isn't as much room in the bowl as the classic model. But once I make the adjustment, it's really great.

This Mini is perfect for everything that doesn't need the capacity of my full size Kitchenaid. It's great for beating eggs, whipping cream, etc., but it's also ideal for making small-batch cookie dough, dinner rolls, single loaves of yeast bread, crumble toppings, and on and on . . .! Plus, she's pretty! She has her own spot in my kitchen across the room from her Big Brother, also Empire Red! For those who don't have the space for a full size mixer, this is the thing!

This item ordered in the UK arrived with US plug and not as displayed.Total disappointment. had to return the item immediately on same day (luckily it arrived on a Saturday) but the money ££££ not returned yet after one week has passed. This is a reflection on Amazon that is no longer serving its customers as it started at the beginning. Perhaps it is getting too big and I should start shopping elsewhere!

The mixer is amazing but it came missing two parts of four mentioned in description.It says "Includes wire whisk, flat beater, dough hook and bonus flex edge beater; " but it is missing the wire whisk and the flat beater.

Works very well as advertised. I like to do cookies in batches that are usually around 24 to 36 and it seems to be around the perfect size for that. I also made a massive cake – three layers end with this mixer. That nearly took it to the limit, but it worked. The look as attractive, build quality is excellent, and functionality a welcome addition addition to my kitchen.

Está hermosa la batidora, llegó en tiempo y muy bien empacada.Ya la probamos y funciona muy bien, justo para lo que la necesitábamos.Al mezclar masa se mueve un poco el cabezal, pero para las otras funciones está perfecta!!!Es súper silenciosa, bueno hace más ruido mi Vitamix que la Mini Artisan. Es la primera Kitchenaid que tengo y no me arrepiento de haber hecho la inversión y hay que mencionar que el precio fue excelente!, me costó 4,400 pesos mexicanos y no he vuelto a encontrar ese precio en ningún modelo. El color que compré fue el blanco mate. La compré por que era el color más barato pensando en que ni modo, es el color que hay, pero al verla en vivo fue muy grato a la vista. Está muy linda y el color no le demerita nada. Se ve hermosa en mi cocina, es la mitad de peso que la Artisan normal y ocupa menos espacio y hace el mismo trabajo que su hermana mayor.No me costó trabajo poner los ingredientes en el bowl mientras ya está trabajando. Iba a comprar una tapa protectora en la que se pueden deslizar los ingredientes, pero, creo que no será necesario pues no tuve ningún problema con esa actividad.Una sorpresa fue ver que el mezclador normal viene con goma, es de los que va limpiando el bowl mientras va girando.En general todo muy bien. La amo!

the mixer is great but we did not get all the accessories. description Includes stainless steel bowl, wire whisk, flat beater, dough hook and bonus flex edge beater. we did not get the flat beater. i dint have a way to contact amazon right now as their call center is shut down. i hope that after this comment Someone can assist us. thank you
