Come Away With Me 20th Anniversary

Nora Jones is so great. Her voice is smooth and she’s very easy to listen to.

I have a very accurate, detailed, transparent, neutral system. My speakers are thiel cs 3.6s. The only warmth from my system comes from my phono cartridge, a shure v15 with a jico boron sas. If a vinyl records is imperfect in any way I hear it. This album in all ways is near perfect. Im extremely happy with this album.

Music could be great but no way for me to enjoy it in this poor sound quality. I recently ordered three albums in vinyl, Igor, Diana Krall and Norah Jones for around $90 total. None of them sounded great, Diana Krall had least issue but the other two were so terrible to keep record playing two minutes in. Sounded not clear, muffled, and shaky bass. I later found them new with tones of static, there were crazy poos when my brush went near them. I don’t know if the static or manufacturing washing process coating made them horrible, but my liner track turntable stopped by itself in the middle of playing couple times making me feel bad. Put those okd 70-&0s record on and didn’t get these symptoms to repeat. Don’t want to buy bew vinyl anymore, expensive and poor experience leavine a bad taste in the mouth. Edit: the replacement is good and made me a believer which this album is great, 5 stars. Too bad I had to go through twice to find a good copy.

I previously owned this on CD and now have it on vinyl. Norah Jones never disappoints! I’m so glad I was able to find and purchase it. The sound quality is crystal clear, and it arrived well packaged. 🎶 Norah Jones never disappoints!

Fabulous voice she has

Being a bit of a jazz fan who looks down upon pop-jazz artists as sell-outs, I was initially a little be apprehensive about this album. Sure she was beautiful and sure the lead single was immensely popular, but so many jazz singers turn out to turn more mainstream (as is the case of the latest work by Diana Krall). After listening to it at first, I thought what just about any jazz purist would say: "this is not jazz!" And that is the point; this should not be compared to jazz music. Krall's music DOES fit more in jazz that this album; in fact this album is a little of a classification oddity. Most listeners simply say it is a bit of a cross between pop, jazz and country. This is not too far off from the truth. One thing that I think people have failed to notice is just how much the songs could fit easily on an album by one of the greatest singer/songwriters that ever lived; James Taylor. In fact, it should be noted that this album is almost definitely more suited to fans of Mr. Taylor than perhaps fans of Sarah Vaughn, Ella Fitzgerald or Lady Day herself. The classification nightmare is due to the fact that she is signed to Blue Note, a label that is almost exclusively jazz. Yes, it is jazz tinged, but so are some of James Taylor's songs such as "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight". The album is a very mellow experience and is a perfect showcase for her exquisite voice (another thing she has in common with James Taylor). It is unique in that it has been released by a new artist in a climate where most songs are created by people who deserve more credit than the singers themselves. It harks back to the simpler times of the Early 1970s when James Taylor and groups like Bread were in their prime. Admittedly, the best tracks are "Don't Know Why" and "Come Away With Me", but all are enjoyable and we must remember that this is her first album; even artists like Stevie Wonder, Prince and Marvin Gaye didn't hit full stride until a few years later into their career. In closing, this is an album for fans of that kind of music. If you are looking for jazz, go by Kind of Blue or something like that (just stay away from Kenny G).

Great cd. Super audio has a slightly better sound over regular cd. I bought for a low price.

Llegó antes de lo previsto, en perfecto estado y muy bien empaquetado! estoy encantada, es una maravilla para los oídos, lo mejor sin duda de Norah Jones, lo recomiendo totalmente como un "must" en cualquier colección.
