I really like that it is a 5
So first of all, this is is the cheapest 5 speaker receiver i could find on amazon. I was a little scared to get it seeing as not many people have bought or reviewed it. I also tried looking up the receiver on google, and could not fins a thing about it. I really like that it is a 5.2 receiver, get's plenty loud, and has built in bluetooth! TLDR: it works as advertisedUnboxing: comes well packaged. You get the unit, a remote, batteries for the remote, and radio antennas.Setup: it's self explanatory. There are 4 HDMI pass thrus and 3 aux audio inputs. Speakers go into the 5 way binding posts. I was not able to hook up my laptop as an HDMI source, but that may just be my laptop. I was able to set up consoles however, and it works fine. None of my consoles pass 4K, so i can't comment on its 4k capabilities, but it passes 1080p fine.Sound Quality: audio seems to amplify fine. If there is nothing playing and you crank it up, you'll hear a slight hiss, but as soon as you apply a source, it goes away. That's my experience with most receivers/ampsNote: You can only select one source at a time. If you choose one of the HDMI sources, that's where the audio will come from. If you choose the AUX sources, that's where the audio will come from (there won't be any video). You cannot individually choose a video and Aux source to play simultaneously.I'll update in a few months on reliability.

Junk, designed to work until return date is past
After about 1 month or receiving the amp the internal fan stopped so I had to keep a small fan on it when using it so it would not over heat and shut down. After just 4 months of owning it all the speaker outputs only have a loud humm and do not work. Speakers are fine it is the amps outputs that are not working this is junk.

Signal Loss through HDMI over longer distances, cannot balance sound.
Worked just fine over short distances, but when outputting to my HDMI projector across the room (on a longer HDMI cable), the signal loss was so bad that the projector flickered every few seconds. You also can't adjust the volume for the back speakers separately from the front, which makes sound balancing nearly impossible.

Inexpensive way to share multiple HDMI devices
I needed this to replace a 20+ year old receiver that wore out. I already had an HDMI switcher and an array of audio cables to support my satellite TV, game console, blue ray, steaming box. With this setup, it is 1 HDMI from each and 1 out to my projector. I did find that if it detects full surround stereo it does need to have something in all 5 speaker outputs (L-R front, L-R rear, center) otherwise you only hear parts of the sound, it wont down convert to 2-speakers. I hooked up the rest of my speakers (only had 2 connected previously) and no problem. I have not tried to integrate its remote yet, so I'm juggling remotes, and I did find it odd that the "master volume" knob on the unit at first didn't seem to do anything, but later it started working. It's a little "cheap" looking but works for me.

Best Value 5.2 Channel Receiver With All The Perks
Great 5.2 surround receiver for the price, best value amongst other brands. There is plenty of power for the F/L and Center Channel and there is an RCA output for a powered subwoofer connection. You will need to wire your speakers up with bananna plugs for a proper connection and just make sure you have speakers with atleast 8 Ohms impedence, any lower and it may break the receiver. Higher than 8 ohms is also okay, it will just reduce your power output. I have 2 books shelf speakers at 12 ohms and there is plenty of power at max volume. There is also a very usefull remote that has all the functions necessary. You can hook up multiple HDMI connections with this reciever and hopefully will last for a few years.

Poor Build Quality
The first one that I got would not even turn on. I returned it for another one which turned on okay, but then it started muting itself if the volume went up, and would stay muted until it was power-cycled. Do not buy this product.

Loses sound.
Nice looking unit, but every time I would turn on the unit, there would be no sound and it would require another setup.
