These little trackers save time finding keys by pinpointing location. Happy with the purchase.

I bought this tracker for my dog Tyson, but it's not actually designed for tracking pets indoors; instead, it's best used while taking your pet for a stroll outside. Notable features of tracker is it gives me a separation alerts whenever Tyson tries to flee in the park, Ring to find is another cool feature which also helps for finding my Tyson, overall a good product. Does not trigger a notification if my pet wearing the device goes out of range. I have tried all settings and did multiple tests. It did work a few times but does not work most of the times. Hence defeats the whole purpose. Even gets disconnected very frequently and you have to long press button on the device to activate the connection between device and app again. If you are looking for a reliable device, this probably is not for you. Honestly I have not tried other similar products so not sure if this tech general is not matured enough just on this product or on other products as well.

This tag8 Dolphone Smart Tracker on its first appearance looked very promising. I decided to test it by setting it up to be used with my house keys. Downloading and setting up the app was very straightforward with my iPhone 12. However, I was noticing my battery drained very quickly after I downloaded the app. Having looked at battery usage in my iPhone settings, I could see that it was the Dolphin Smart Tracker that was using a considerable amount of battery (even compared to other high battery use apps). I, therefore, stopped using this tag8 after two days. I, therefore, can't recommend this to you.

This little tracker seems ideal. Is small and you get an app to download that's very easy to set up. I'm practice, I found I couldn't get accurate tracking data all the time - this was intermittent and almost made having it pretty useless. The app also drains my battery on my phone like none other I've experienced. After a while, I unstalled the app. Maybe other users would have better luck (Android user here). Overall, for the price, it is worth seeing if it works for you - there are other reviewers that have had a positive experience.
