This item exceeded my expectations. It is an easy, straightforward install and removal, and it stands securely upright in my lawn, even when windy. I like that you can adjust the pole height by simply adding or removing a section. I also like that you can easily adjust the flag position and that the flag flies freely and does not wrap around the pole in the wind (that is my experience, although some reviews say otherwise). I have the silver color pole and it is this, sturdy, and pretty. The size flag I use on this pole is 3'x5'.

I needed a new flagpole and I saw this one that goes into the ground. I've always wanted a free standing flagpole but the amount of work involved with installing the 30 ft poles was intimidating. This one looked like more like something I could do myself. The pole was very simple to put screw together. I attached the new flag I ordered on Amazon, as well as the solar light at the top of the pole I screwed the side spike into the middle hole as my ground is compacted. It is strange that the instructions didn't mention the second set of spikes and there wasn't a hole to secure them. But, it was not an issue. I simply placed them in top of the other spike and tightened the screw. It was easy to pound the pipe and spikes into the ground using a rubber mallet. I then screwed in the top part of the pole with the flag and light attached. The pole feels very secure and I am not concerned about it coming loose or falling. I'm very impressed with this flag pole! Our flag looks so majestic and shows my American pride so nicely! God Bless America!

Very easy to assemble received as pictured but the stakes that attached to the bottom are not heavy duty and when I pressed them into the ground one of the tension bolts snapped off. Was gonna return but I have pole stakes and I was able to insert the flag pole into my stakes and shimmy the pole to keep it from wobbling

I was worried about the durability of this. Shortly after purchasing it and getting my flag up, we had a decent storm. It stormed several days in a row with high winds and really heavy rain. The flagpole held up well! I am impressed and have purchased a second one for camp! This product is unique. I can't find any other freestanding flagpole that has four support prongs like this one does. I definitely recommend this! ***Updating this after 4 1/2 months. I actually bought a second flagpole and used two segments to make the original one higher. It's been through some sturdy winds. It bends but pops right back into place on its own. I'm definitely impressed with how it's held up. The only complaint I have is the rings. They do not swivel as they should. As you can see in the photo that I added. The flag is wrapping around the pole. It does this intermittently and sometimes the rings work. Maybe adding some oil to it would help. I do plan on getting a permanent flagpole with a wider diameter and put it deeper into the ground. I will use this one for camp. It will definitely hold up for a week camping if it's held up for for 4 months in a couple of wind storms.

The pole/flag worked well for my purposes mounted on my truck at the beach. One section of the pole was unusable as it was not manufactured correctly. The base will not hold in any soil if there is a breeze as it is simply not large enough.

The perfect height. A little taller than the cheap flag poles sold at local stores.

This product was easy to put together, but also easy to fall apart. I hammered the bottom piece into the lawn with a rubber mallet so it would have a sturdy base in the ground, but it didn’t make a difference. Throughout the day, the pieces became loose and ended up falling over by the end of the day. Very disappointing. There were no high winds either. As a veteran I wanted a temporary pole in front of the house while I wait for one to be professionally installed. I do not recommend this pole to be used. I guess I should’ve taken a picture of it broken on the ground, but as soon as I saw the American flag on the ground, I rushed to pick it up instead of worrying about a review after the fact.

I was really impressed at the size of this kit, it covers in a small box but once constructed it’s a full 9 ft pole, which makes packing and storage easy! It looks great and it seems sturdy enough

We,ve used this flagpole during the hockey playoffs…. So not permanent. This flag has been flapping around for about 3 months, attached to the flagpole….exposed to full sun, and constant wind and rain storms (Alberta spring). It’s withheld really well, hasn’t fallen or bent. Would purchase again!

The flag pole is beautiful addition to my garden to display my country’s flag- The pole was so easy to assemble and it’s very sturdy once I put it in the ground. The only thing is that on the photo it showed the pile to be black in color - That is what I wanted - I received it in chrome.

The pole moves a lot in medium wind but I am glad I can unscrew it for a bad storm wind

Used these poles to string (Very light) bunting over a picnic area for a festival. I could not maximize the height as they droop over before a flag could even be attached. The metal foot broke off in the grass (which wasn’t too dense) on multiple sets, and even though I used forty pound rubber weights they still seemed unsafe (as if they could topple over
