Great blades, hugely improved handles
I bought my first Dorco razor maybe 15 years ago, and have relied on it ever since, saving a ton of cash on blades along the way. They're just as good as Gilette, if not better, but Gilette has a distribution monopoly, so you won't see these in most stores. Save your money. Do you need 7 blades? Are they worth the additional cost? It's debatable on price/value, but there's no doubt on this: they give me a better, faster, smoother shave. Plus they come with nicer handles... The new handles are a HUGE upgrade. (I've tried them both.) The old ones were effective, but ugly, and the release mechanism broke over time. These are an improvement in every way. This particular 'Premium' handle is super-chic, looks great, and feels good in your hand. To get something like this for the Gilette blades, you'll pay $40 or more and these guys give it to you free... you have little to lose here, except your outdated dependency on an overpriced and customer-unfriendly retail monopoly.

Seven Blades? - Count Me In!
This is the only razor currently on the market with SEVEN (7) blades. Do I really need to say anything more than that? OK... I will. For those of you who cannot handle 7 blades, Pace also makes a 6 blade version. Below that, you have many mass manufacturers offering the ubiquitous 5 blade and 3 blade razors. Now, let me be clear... I am not saying that a man's worth should be measured by the number of blades in his razor. I am not saying that using a razor with fewer blades in any way makes one less of a man. I am not saying that irrational fear of having more than 5 blades necessarily indicates cowardice or timidity. I am not saying that your wife will quietly respect you a bit less for having fewer blades in your razor. I am not saying that an inability to grasp the obvious fact that more blades is better, necessarily makes one stupid. I am not saying that protesting "but I have sensitive skin" is necessarily effeminate silly talk in any way. I am not saying that one's stubborn unwillingness to take the slightest chance and try something new and potentially much better is necessarily the mark of a man whose spirit broken, and whose life is characterized by a jaded attitude and incessant thoughts of "what if I had started that business years ago?" and "what if I had asked that smoking hot girl out years ago?" and "what if I had invested in that stock years ago?" and "what if I had just manned up years ago and pursued my passion for..." ... well, you get the idea... necessarily makes one a "loser" or even "less than Alpha". No, I am merely noting that, as Henry David Thoreau said, "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation, and go to the grave with the song still in them". So, you can just go ahead and follow the 3 to 5 blade masses. Or you can buy a razor with 7 blades. It's your call. No judgement here.

Great blades
The round plastic handle is not my favorite. I shave my head in the shower, and it becomes slippery. But the blades are the best I’ve ever used

Good but NO trimmer blade!
I have a love/hate relationship with Dorco. They are a better value as long as they last as long as Gillette. Many times they do. I prefer the Pace 6 (6 blade + trimmer blade), although the blades get clogged easily and are difficult to rinse clean. The Pace 4 gives me a rough shave. Figured I would give this one a change. The handle is heavy which gives a solid feel, but it's slippery when wet. The blades do a nice job giving me a smooth shave. They seem to last 7 - 10 shaves for me, which is just about what I get from Gillette. But not having a trimmer blade is a killer. Again, a love/hate. Love the heft of the handle, but it's slippery. Good blades, but no trimmer. I will probably go back to the Pace 6, just for the trimmer. If this handle had some rubber grips it would be ideal.

Slippery smooth handle - 0 grip
The blades are very good but if you plan to shave in the shower the handle has 0 grip and becomes dangerously slippery. I am returning this razor. I don’t know why they’d make a handle that gets so slippery.
