UPDATE ============================= I contacted the manufacturer (eptsensors.com) and they sent a new replacement circuit board and housing. The casing had a gasket and was better sealed with an epoxy at the wire junctions. Works as expected now!! ============================= The plastic casing bottom portion seems water proof, but the lid was missing a gasket. After 45 days, the sensor started reporting incorrect levels, then started flashing 0% then 100% then 0% ad infinitum. Only after unscrewing the top to look at the electronics did I notice it was missing a gasket which would have kept the water out. The circuit board is now corrupted and no longer works. Hoping I can get a return authorization and free replacement, because everything else worked nicely. I only need the circuit board for the sensor.

I tried understanding the setup instructions before installing and poking holes , they barely give you a clue and setting the low level alarm is just not understandable . I decided in desperation to install the thing and plug to see what it did, it apparently set by itself!!! All I had to do was set the time and date . it has a very nice display and I have been using to measure liquid acid So far no issues !!!! I am very pleased . I wish it had more clear and specific installation and setup instructions !!!!!

The device only functioned correctly for one month. After that, the software started to have false tank full alarm failures at 100%. Additionally, the alarm emits a sound that cannot be stopped without disconnecting it from the power source. I do not recommend this product."

Nice unit just can't get it to work on something that's twenty inches high if you take it out of tank losses it setlng

I set this up to measure the water level in a well for a cabin that does not have city water. I want to know when I am running low or when the overflow pipe is blocked. This meter comes close to my needs. The sensor is weatherproof and on a 15-meter cable, so that works great. I have the display and power brick (wall wart) inside where it is convenient to read. The basic user interface design is to set a 0% and 100% level against which alarms are triggered. My use case would be met even better if I just got a direct reading of the water level (e.g., "2.5 meters below the sensor"). Even better, I would like to set a "normal level" (I do not care the actual numeric value, just the normal level), and then set high and low marks against that for the alarms. Against the percentage model, I could do with the ability to set the current (normal) level to be 50%, then set high and low against that. Anyway, this is a good meter if you have a use model that wants 0-100%.

this device is really cool. I have it set up in an indoor hydroponic reservoir. the LCD screen looks very high tech and is very helpful and easy to read. This product is extremely accurate and it is very valuable when it comes to hydroponic gardening.

Returned for refund. If it didn't work for this application (1000 gallon tank), it wouldn't work for anything.

I can get it to work maybe 2 days then all it does is starts flashing and beeping and not measuring the level?

El producto ha funcionado de manera excelente. En mi caso particular cumple muy bien su función y resolvió mi problema, el cual era saber si un taque que se encuentra en la azotea y de difícil acceso por la altura y debido a que no hay quién este subiendo a verificar cuánta agua hay en dicho tanque. La cuestión es que hay ocasiones en que el agua que proviene de la toma municipal sube sin necesidad de encender la bomba y eso hace impredecible verificar la cantidad de agua que hay en el tanque. Es cierto que no es wifi ni tiene otros puertos para enviar señales, pero para mi es suficiente por el momento. No se deben meter varillas o cables dentro del tanque. Hay que colocar el aparato en la tapa del tanque (en mi caso se hizo un agujero pequeño en la tapa del tinaco); indicar en el display la altura del tinaco y el sensor hace su trabajo. Hasta el momento me ha funcionado de maravilla y espero que siga así. Ya no hay que estar subiendo a ver si hay agua para no quedarse a medias en las actividades diarias y ni arriesgarse a subir escaleras marinas, verticales de manera cotidiana.

Only one day but the device was easy to install and seems to work detecting levels. It's much better than a simple low level alarm as I can monitor water levels for unusual activity.

Great product, touchless to water tank. I like the design and all work fine. It's has can set water scale (min and max) and alerts level. However, the sensor is too big to fit my narrow space above my water tank.

Si da la lectura del nivel de agua, pero constantemente cambia la lectura dupongo por el movimiento del agua. y tiene una alarma que no puedes apagar cuando llega al nivel minimo establecido o se llenó completamente. y como hace lecturas variadas, pues suena a cada rato. es molesto y lo apago en las noches para dormir. no lo recomiendo hasta que corrijan ese defecto de diseño: Apagar la alarma definitivamente. ** Actualización ** el termometro del tanque no funciona correctamente, envia mediciones de + de 100°C y muestra error. ** Actualización 2 ** el sensor esta dando lecturas falsas de nivel de agua, pero creo que es por sobrecalentamiento. durante el dia marca que esta lleno y cuando esta frio da la lectura mas real quito una estrella por esta razon ** Actualización 3 ** Compré el sensor por separado y noté que es diferente, tiene una capa parecida a resina epoxica que recubre toda la placa. (voy a tratar de subir fotos del modelo original y el nuevo). lo instalé hace una semana aproximadamente y parece que las lecturas de nivel y temperatura son correctas. estaré informando nuevamente cuando tenga otra actualización. no cambio la calificación porque el sensor debió venir estar recubierto como el nuevo modelo sin necesidad de tener que comprar uno nuevo.
